MemberUnderstood – you could certainly set a listener on an action like admin_head or perhaps earlier and use some other criteria, then allow access or else redirect them to some other page – but that would be a bit more involved than we can help with.

MemberIt’s not in zip format, so if you’re trying to upload it directly via the WordPress plugin admin screen you will certainly run in to that. I’ll post a .zip in a moment, or else you could unpack it locally and either zip it yourself or upload it by FTP.

MemberHi Christina,
I have shared a download link for WooTickets 1.0.1 (above) if you want to give that a try.
Since you are using The Events Calendar 2.0.11 and its related plugins I don’t think the issues with Chrome reported elsewhere are going to be relevant here, as that is something that only sprung up with the latest release (and is now in hand).
It’s difficult to guess what might be causing your current problem – if it still persists with WooTickets 1.0.1 please try our normal steps of:
* Deactivating all plugins except for those by Modern Tribe
* Switch to a default, unmodified theme such as Twenty Twelve
* Check if the problem still occurs at that pointAlso, it created a “Ticket” category, but nothing shows up in it.
That is by design.
Ticket products are placed in a ticket category to segregate them from other products. By default however they also have their catalog visibility set to hidden – which means the category isn’t normally empty, it just may appear that way if viewed in the storefront.
I appreciate that may not be desirable if for instance you are using WooCommerce’s category widget – and I believe there is a proposal under consideration to change this behaviour.

MemberHi buooy,
While I don’t have a quick fix the current approach reflects a great deal of feedback from the first iterations of WooTickets. We’re always open to feedback and I’d encourage you to log this (and make your case, as it were) over at UserVoice:
https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas
We can then review it and other users can also indicate if they support this or otherwise add feedback about the idea.
The latter of the options you discussed – combining the confirmation email and tickets – is probably the most readily achievable: reinstating PDF tickets would be far more involved.
I’m sorry I can’t offer up an instant fix here – but do know that either approach is definitely possible and, again, we look forward to receiving your feedback over on UserVoice.
Thanks!

MemberSo we’ve created and tested some new code and hope to ship that shortly, that should – hopefully – resolve this. I’ll let you know as soon as it has been released.

MemberIf you go to a month view where there are no events, then yes that is being treated as a 404 (because no posts – in this case the posts represent events – are found): in that case what you are seeing is indeed similar to the other thread, albeit the focus there was on removing the “Page Not Found” text from the title tag.
I’d still like to handle this one separately, simply to keep things nice and tidy. Bear with me while I do some checking and talk with the team.
Thanks!

MemberHi Neil,
That’s very much a different problem, so let’s keep the conversation going here. From the details you posted in the other thread:
We’re using (and have tried deactivating) the following:
All In One SEO Pack
Google XML Sitemaps
Safe Redirect ManagerAre you able to inspect the generated sitemap? Does that contain the erroneous URLs?
Barry
MemberHi Neil. Since we’ve got a temporary fix in place for Cynthia’s issue (which is quite separate and relates only to the content of title tags) I’ll copy those details back to the original thread that you opened as these are indeed separate problems.
Cynthia: at this point I’m going to close this thread – if you can continue using the temporary fix, possibly until 3.0.3 is released (as the definitive fix might not make the cut for 3.0.2) that would be great.
Thanks all!
Barry
MemberCan you share a URL so I can see this first hand?
Barry
MemberTickets, by default, have their catalog visibility set to hidden. You can change this by editing them in the product editor – does that help?
Barry
MemberYou could definitely try WooTickets 1.0.1.
I’m out of time today, but bear with me and I’ll get you a download link tomorrow.
Barry
MemberHi Bryan – unfortunately I’m out of time today but I’ll take a look at your issue first thing tomorrow 🙂
