I’m trying to change the color of the Entry title and description. I’ve firebugged it, but can’t find the CSS to change. It’s pulling from an inline span CSS. The text is here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1401134/Screen%20Shot%202013-07-03%20at%203.55.42%20PM.png

    Hi Jim,

Though you noted you are using the latest plugin that looks a little like what I might expect to see with The Events Calendar 2.0.11 – can you confirm which version you are using?

    Thanks!

Barry – it is 2.0.11. I didn’t see the 3.0 update. Do you think that would fix it?

I’m not really sure if it would or not – it’s possible – but essentially I didn’t want to provide a fix for 2.0.11 if you were actually using 3.0 (or even if you were on the verge of updating, since the fix might effectively then be useless).

Can you confirm if you are going to continue using 2.0.11 / have switched to 3.0?

So just to be sure we’re on the same wavelength, if I take the above event as an example, you want the text that is currently grey and showing below the image of the artist to be white?

    I see.

Well I suspect that may be neither the result of your theme’s stylesheets nor those of our plugin. Did you copy and paste that text from another source such as a word processor document, email or another website?

It has a number of inline style rules (which take precedence over those in stylesheets) and one of those is setting the text color to black.

If you are unsure what I am talking about then the best advice I can offer is to edit the text again (switch from HTML to plain text mode) and wipe what is there – replacing it with a “plain text” version.

    Does that help?
