MemberHi Mike: can you try moving to a yyyy-mm-dd format (“Y-m-d”) for your dates?
Barry
MemberHi Big,
I can replicate something similar with Twenty Twelve so it doesn’t look like it is specific to your theme – what I did notice though is that this happens if the sidebar is called before the event view (in this case, photo view) is loaded – if it is called after this everything behaved as expected.
So, if it’s possible for you to rejig things to make it work by those means that could help you get on track faster – though I will definitely report this as a bug as I can’t think of any good reasons why you shouldn’t be able to do this.

MemberI don’t believe it was a known bug, but I can definitely see the same thing. I’ll report this as a bug and see what we can do – sorry also for the delay in responding.
Barry
MemberHi javadmin – sorry for the delay, we have been slower than normal recently as we deal with a larger than normal volume of requests.
In the first instance can I ask you to visit Events > Settings > Display and see if you are using the Default Events Template or Default Page Template … can you try toggling between these to see if one is a “better fit” for you here?
Barry
MemberHi siegfriedgeryl,
My understanding is that dates are passed through WordPress’s own date internationalization functions – (WP_Locale) – so you would need to ensure WordPress itself is running with a correct and complete set of translations for this.
Does that help?

MemberHi Dee,
Our WooCommerce Tickets plugin is probably what you are looking for here – it builds on top of The Events Calendar (our free, core plugin) and WooCommerce itself.
Strictly speaking you don’t need Events Calendar PRO, though it’s often a good idea if you want to take advantage of its feature-set.
Barry
MemberGreat suggestion – in case you weren’t aware remember that we also have a UserVoice page where you can suggest things like this (and that also allows other members of the community to show their support):

Though we’ll definitely take note of this one from here. Thanks again 🙂
Barry
MemberRather than locating the template override at CHILDTHEME/tribe-events/wootickets/tickets.php can you place it at CHILDTHEME/events/tickets.php and see if that works for you?
Barry
MemberHi David: sorry for the confusion – I just realized you are still using WooTickets 1.0.1, in which case the above isn’t going to work.
Barry
MemberYes you can basically reorder actions in that way except when removing an action you must specify the original priority, unless of course it happens to be the default priority.
Barry
MemberHi H,
It’s looking like NextGen intercepts WooCommerce Tickets’ database queries, modifies them and the result is no tickets can be found even when they already exist / actually have been created.
As in this thread we are still researching the situation but will get back to you as quickly as we can.
Thank you for your patience!

MemberWe are still digging into this, all I can really tell you at this point is that our plugin is unable to retrieve tickets when NextGen is active – as soon as there’s a more substantive update we’ll get back to you.
Thanks for your patience 🙂

MemberHi!
We are currently working on the tag issue but that’s a new permutation that I don’t believe has been reported before … I did take a look at your site (looks fantastic by the way) but couldn’t locate the tag cloud – would you be able to point me in the right direction there?
Can you also tell me if your WordPress Reading settings are set to show a static front page (may not be relevant, but it could be based on some other oddities some users have reported)?
Thanks!

MemberHi John,
We’d definitely like to help if we can – can I just get a little more info:
I edited the ticket in woocommerce so that the people booking got the courses associated with this, through sensei, the ticket vanished
Sensei isn’t something I’ve used – but could you run through what you tweaked here?
I’m also slightly unclear if after doing this you only had to remove the slide show widget for it to show again: is this particular widget associated with Sensei in any way, or were these entirely distinct problems that were solved separately?
I added in another event and ticket, this ticket does not show. I removed the code from function.php and the new event ticket still does not show up!
OK – just to summarize where we currently are with WooCommerce Tickets – so long as you are using the latest version you should not require the fix we were asking people to add to their functions.php file previously.
For this particular ticket that is failing to display, would you be able to share a screenshot of the ticket settings (start and end sale dates, stock levels etc)?
Thanks!
Barry
MemberHi rduncan10: that basically looks good but can you also add an eventDisplay key to your array and set it to all – let me know if that helps.
