MemberHi Menno,
When I visit the concerto.amsterdam URL you shared I get a page not found error – so it seems it has been deleted. Perhaps you are using a caching plugin and the cache didn’t immediately clear, or something of that order?
Let me know if you need more help with this!

MemberHi Mark,
Sorry to hear you’ve hit up against some difficulties.
What’s odd is, your /category/valuation/ archive seems to be a regular post category archive (whereas, by default, events use their own categories which exist as something distinct from regular WordPress blog post categories).
Did you setup a customization to accomplish this? If so, perhaps the clue lies with one of the tweaks you made.
One other observation I would make is that – and perhaps you already did this but I felt it was worth being clear – you would need to deactivate both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO.
Last but not least, though I’m not sure what you’re using to handle redirects, various plugins like WP SEO support ‘wildcard’ style redirects, so you can for example target any URL containing /category/ or /course/ which might be helpful to you.

MemberHi Joanna,
I’d love to help if I can. Just to clarify: do you mean the list of events that appears in the admin environment (ie, when you go to the Dashboard and then click on Events)?
Thanks!

MemberInteresting – so what’s the specific plugin you are using here, for the RSS feed I mean (interested to take a peek and see if there is anything obvious we’re doing on our side that would cause difficulties)?

MemberHi @dswiese,
I don’t have any direct experience to share with you here though we can certainly leave this open and see if other members of the community can chime in with any advice of their own.
We are thinking about creating an extension that will provide a level of AMP support and I’ve noted your interest in that (unfortunately I can’t guarantee when or if this will be available, however).
The biggest challenge I find is that its hard to register TEC event types with any plugins.
Interesting to hear that: events are regular custom post types and there isn’t anything particularly unusual about them in that regard, so assuming the plugins you’ve tried support custom post types generally I’m not sure why that would be.
At any rate, do let me know if you have further questions on this that I might be able to answer and we can otherwise leave this open for feedback from the community ๐

MemberHi Amanda,
Sorry to hear you’ve hit up against some difficulties and our apologies for the delay.
I’d love to better understand the problem. It sounds like you are doing something via custom code here – is that correct and can you (privately if you prefer) share the relevant snippets?
Certainly if I set up a test whereby I create a frontend script that requests a list of posts via ajax, and the listener code performs a simple WP_Query that targets both pages and events and returns the result, I don’t seem to encounter the same issue: pages and their child pages are returned, not only the first child page – irrespective of the value of the setting you mentioned.
With that in mind I’d love to build up a better picture of what you are doing and how you are doing it, if at all possible.
Thanks!

MemberHi Lanetta,
Thanks for getting back to me.
I’m afraid all support is delivered here on the forums, we don’t currently offer phone or live chat support.
The ticket email doesnโt appear to be going out at all.
On reviewing your system information, it appears like your settings in relation to ticket emails are using sensible defaults – which makes me wonder two things:
- Are the orders actually being set to ‘completed’?
- Do you know if this is specifically a problem with ticket emails, or are emails generally not being dispatched? For example, do customers receive the usual WooCommerce order receipt without any difficulty?
I wonder also if you would be able to create a test event complete with one or more (free) tickets so I can make a test purchase?
Thanks!

MemberHi Emmett,
I’m sorry to hear you’ve hit up against some difficulties here.
Just to be absolutely clear – the specific catchable fatal error you noted only occurs when Simple Directory and Simple Directory Pro are enabled (alongside Events Calendar PRO)?
Do you happen to know if Simple Directory Pro is required to trigger this issue, or can it be replicated with Simple Directory alone?
Thanks!

MemberHi Lanetta,
Thanks for sharing the system information!
That doesn’t actually give us access to your site, however, it just provides us with a range of useful information. Generally, we do not log in to customer websites.
To follow from my last reply to you, are you able to share a screenshot of the tickets email? By default this should include the QR code so I’m keen to see what’s going wrong.
Thanks!
June 13, 2017 at 1:51 pm in reply to: Changes in Evenbrite automatically updated in Events Calendar? #1297481Barry
MemberThanks for the question, bjhdesign.
Unfortunately, this is not currently possible. You’d need to manually make the same change in your local event or you can update your local (WordPress) event and ‘push’ the change to Eventbrite … but it doesn’t work in the other direction.
Does that clarify things?

MemberI do apologize for the delay, Brian: this topic was initially assigned to a staff member who unexpectedly had to take some time out.
It looks like you now have an Event Aggregator license (perhaps another team member assisted you with this?) so I’m guessing you’re all sorted here, but do let me know if you need further help.

MemberHi Luc,
I apologize first of all for the delay in responding. Unfortunately, this fell through the cracks and I’m sorry to have left you waiting.
One of the things I notice is that you appear to be using WPML: at this time, this is not officially supported by Event Tickets or Event Tickets Plus and a range of side effects/problems can occur when trying to use tickets in a multi-language installation that utilizes WPML specifically.
My suspicion is that WPML relates directly to this issue; it’s also a problem we’ve been unable to reliably replicate ourselves, further suggesting that something specific to your installation is behind the problem.
I noticed that, when you first opened this topic, you indicated having performed basic troubleshooting steps including deactivating other plugins and switching to a default theme. Can you confirm the outcome of this testing? With nothing else but our own plugins running, were you still able to replicate this problem (and – importantly – were you able to test with a fresh event and fresh set of tickets when doing this)?
Thanks!
