MemberI’m sorry @efromdc but that is definitely beyond what we can help you with here. Please do check out the following resources which might provide some level of help, and of course the WordPress Codex is going to be useful for something like this.
Sorry we can’t offer up more on this one – but it would be great to see your final solution and share it with the community 🙂

MemberI’m sorry to heaar you are hitting problems here @shawntario: can you link me to a specific example?
We have modified styling quite a bit but reverting all our CSS changes does not solve the issue, neither does de-activating all other plugins

Did you try switching to a default theme like Twenty Twelve and do you still see the issue then?
Barry

MemberI’m sorry to hear you had to go to the lengths of disabling our plugins.
All I can really say at this point is that we are taking what we feel to be a reasonable measure by instructing bots not to index those pages. If that isn’t being respected then perhaps something else is in essence overriding those directives or else the 404 notices Google is supplying are intended to be helpful from a diagnostics perspective, rather than indicative of a falling page rank.
Without seeing first hand what Google is reporting re your site specifically it’s hard to suggest much else.

MemberEverything worked fine until i installed your last upgrade. I don’t no if it is a plugin conflict. Haven’t checked, because then you will give me your standard answer: If it works with the standard theme and with all plugins disabled. We won’t help.
I can understand your reluctance to follow these steps but really we cannot help further if you do not. I would add that I don’t think it is fair or true to suggest we will not help.
We make a judgement in each case and it’s by no means unusual for us to make efforts to obtain the conflicting theme/plugin and troubleshoot from there. I can’t guarantee we’ll do so here, but if we don’t find the conflict (or rule out the possibility of a conflict) then we can’t really progress this issue, either.
It worked. You braked it. You fix it…
Again that isn’t necessarily true – but if it is and we did break something we still need to know what exactly has broken and see what is being affected. To do that, we need your help, since on our own test sites we cannot see the problem.
Thanks!

MemberLet me repost the private reply I made first of all (it shouldn’t have been private, that was a glitch in our system):
I can see that – very strange.
It doesn’t happen on a plain installation though, that I can see, and I wonder if your theme/another plugin or a customization you might have put in place for an earlier version of the plugin is at the root of this.
Can you try deactivating all other plugins, switch to a default and unmodified theme and see if the problem persists?
Thanks!

MemberGlad you solved the problem with February not showing!
but now my thumbnail images disappeared. Any idea how to make the uploaded event images appear as thumbnails for each date (in the calendar view)?
Featured images should show in the month view tooltips even with 3.4.1. However, as this is really a separate problem I’d ask that you post it in a new thread (and I’ll go ahead and close this one).
Thank you!
Barry
MemberSo same sort of problem there. I don’t want to use the actual names since you are sharing this stuff privately, but essentially your events seem to reference venues such as The Old Townhouse but within the venue CSV the name is Old Townhouse – while you and I can tell those are likely to be the same venue the importer is picky and needs the definitive article to be present!
Do I have to upload the venue file everytime I upload events? If yes, would that match the location(and Google maps) accordingly?
You should not, but please do make sure the names are consistent (if the venue is actually called ABC you should not refer to it as The ABC, etc).
Does that help?
Barry
MemberActually … I may have completely misunderstood what you were telling me, if so please accept my apologies.
When you initially wrote that the buttons disappeared I took that literally – do you actually mean that they are simply unstyled? In other words, are you detailing a cosmetic problem in that the buttons don’t look nice rather than a functional issue?
If that’s so, are you finding this is a problem with WooCommerce generally perhaps rather than being a problem that is specific to our ticketing plugin?
Barry
MemberI tried initially in Firefox but just retested in Chrome. Again no problem. To be sure I asked a couple of colleagues and I’m afraid none of us can see this (one team member also had access to Windows/Internet Explorer and again it worked as expected).
It occurs that perhaps you are logged in and that might be the difference between what we are seeing. Can you try going through the process again but ensure you are logged out (if you are familiar with Chrome, you could do this test in an incognito tab) and let me know the results?
Failing that, can you try visiting the site from a different machine that perhaps you don’t normally use?
Thanks!
February 3, 2014 at 7:38 am in reply to: Cannot access "menus" page in admin dashboard after activating PRO version #99964Barry
MemberOk, so with the latest versions of The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO and a copy of Simple Lightbox 2.2.0 I found no problems in terms of accessing the Appearance → Menus admin screen. Similarly, there is no issue I can see within the Appearance → Widgets admin screen (and event related widgets, menu entries etc all work as expected on the frontend).
If you’re seeing something other than this I’m a bit puzzled – perhaps you can try the above for yourself (ie, activate only those three plugins and have a default but unmodified theme running) and confirm if there is still a problem for you. If there is still a problem, are you able to access the server error logs (ask your web hosting provider if you are unsure) and are there any relevant entries in there that might shed some light on this?
Thanks!
February 3, 2014 at 7:28 am in reply to: (Solved) Events n Main Loop: Tribe events AND "regular" posts? Past events? #99957Barry
MemberOK: in that case I’d recommend approaching the author of the theme and check to see if they are themselves altering the main query (for the blog loop) or, alternatively, if they have basically implemented their own query to retrieve the blog posts.
If either of those are true I’m afraid there may not be much we can do to help. On the other hand, if they are pretty confident they are not doing anything like that please do reply with a .zip containing the theme (you could share it via Dropbox, or upload it to your WP site and share a link to it there, for instance) and we’ll take a look.
Thanks!

MemberHi @rpphotography,
We’re investigating right now and will prioritize a fix for the inventory control issue – as of the two issues that would seem to be of the most importance: I don’t want to offer up a timeframe at this point but we’re certainly aiming to get a fix in place as quickly as we can.
For the issue with duplicate cart submissions, I think realistically that will probably be rolled into the monthly maintenance cycle – unless you are finding it’s a problem lots of your customers are facing and can provide a bit more background on that front?
Thanks!
Barry
MemberThere’s not going to be too much more we can offer up here – but do you have any further questions on this one before I close the thread?
Barry
MemberWe have not yet set up a demo – but if you take a look at the links in my first reply you’ll get a pretty good flavour of how it works and what it can do.
I’m afraid we haven’t been running at full strength over the last week or so and consequently we’re a little behind on setting things up like placing this plugin on the demo site. We’ll certainly try to remedy this as quickly as we can, though.
Thanks for contacting us 🙂
