Google Map not showing

I’ve imported events from a CSV file and I’ve specified to show the Map but not the link. Unfortunately, Only the dates, time, cost, and category show up. The location did not upload even if I’ve uploaded the venues CSV first.

I’m not sure if I’m formatting the address wrong or the plug-in is not pinning the locations to Google Maps.

That’s a shame: so the problem boils down to the venue import, is that correct? Would you be able to share your CSV files (or a sample of them) so we can try and figure out what the problem may have been?

Please note that I could access the venue CSV file (in the initial pair of files you linked to) but did not have permission to access the events CSV. I could however access the CSV you shared in your very last post.

So, assuming it can also be paired with the same venue data, I did notice that pretty much all of the events use the same venue – but that same venue does not exist in the venue file (though I can take a guess to which venue it is, because there is a missing word in the venue title our software would not be able to match the two).

Besides that it all seems in order.

So same sort of problem there. I don’t want to use the actual names since you are sharing this stuff privately, but essentially your events seem to reference venues such as The Old Townhouse but within the venue CSV the name is Old Townhouse – while you and I can tell those are likely to be the same venue the importer is picky and needs the definitive article to be present!

Do I have to upload the venue file everytime I upload events? If yes, would that match the location(and Google maps) accordingly?

You should not, but please do make sure the names are consistent (if the venue is actually called ABC you should not refer to it as The ABC, etc).
