MemberHi! You seem to have posted in the pre-sales forum … it’s generally best to post in the WooCommerce Tickets forum if you already have a license (it looks like you do).
In general though, the application of taxes is something that rests at the level of the ecommerce engine and right now we do not support this. It would mean our plugin would need to interfere in the operation of WooCommerce itself – and I don’t think we have any immediate plans to investigate doing so.
With that said, if you want to post a feature request we’d certainly be more than happy to give it further consideration (and, posting a request also means other users can show their support for this idea – you may even find a suitable existing request you can add your own voice to):
I hope that helps 🙂

MemberI’m sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulties here.
Since the site isn’t web accessible it’s difficult to build a sense of what might be going wrong, but thanks in any case for running through out standard troubleshooting steps (deactivating all other plugins and switching to a default, unmodified theme) … can you confirm what the outcome of that test was – were you able to isolate your theme or another plugin as the source of the issue?
Thanks!
Barry
MemberThat’s possible but would count as an advanced customization and wouldn’t be something we could help you with.
As an alternative, would it be possible for you to enable pretty permalinks? You would then have what are generally considered to be more SEO-friendly URLs and could exercise greater control over them (a pattern like example.com/event/event-name is used by default, but you would have the ability to change this to something like example.com/party/event-name if you wanted and that was more suitable in your scenario).
Does that help?

MemberI’m sorry to see you’re having problems and can indeed see this on your site.
It actually looks like the Javascript which powers the calendar widget navigation is not being loaded: to find out why this might be, can you deactivate all other plugins and switch to a default theme?
Does the problem still occur?
If that solves the problem, please reactivate each plugin and finally your theme – testing at each point to check if the problem has returned (this could be helpful in isolating the source of the problem).
Let me know how it goes!

MemberHi – great idea!
Perhaps you could use the tribe_get_start_date() function (or tribe_get_end_date() depending on what you feel is most suitable) and compare against the current date/time?
Would that work for you?
Barry
MemberHi!
The Themer’s Guide is a great starting point for this sort of work. As in your other thread I’d recommend looking through the following resources (but the Themer’s Guide in particular):
To take a real world example though, if you look at the list widget on our demo site you can that at this time it has an ID of #tribe-events-adv-list-widget-2 and some pretty specific classes are also available: .widget.tribe-events-adv-list-widget … though the ID may change depending on if you remove and reposition it (or add another instance of the same widget into a different position on the same sidebar etc) you could probably build a suitably specific rule based on the CSS classes alone.
Does that help?

MemberHi!
Sounds like you’re doing a great job getting stuck in and making changes. That’s a fairly specific tweak you wish to make though and while we can’t help with it directly, the following resources cover much of what you’ll need.
Does that help?

MemberHi @sonalkhirwadkar,
We can certainly look into a change here – I’ll log an issue for this and we’ll have a think about what the best approach might be here.
Thanks for the suggestion!

Member@Graeme: I do understand that this is a frustrating issue for you, but please help us to help you by posting a new thread – as previously advised. I do appreciate it represents a notable problem in terms of calendar functionality, but then again we don’t actually know at this point that there is a bug in our code (in Andy’s case, for instance, this was triggered by his theme – Dandelion – which essentially veered from normal practices).
@John: similarly, if you know that your theme is already making the correct use of the body_class() function then it’s highly likely that the problem is quite different in your case, even if it has similar symptoms. Please do create a new thread and one of the team will be only too happy to help.
Andy: how are you getting on – can you confirm if the suggestion I made worked in your case?
Barry
MemberYep you’re absolutely right. We’re looking at what we can do on this one and will update you as soon as we can.

MemberThe only setting that comes to mind is Events → Settings → General → Clear up recurring events after… (period) however this is geared only towards recurring events. If that doesn’t look like the culprit, perhaps you have some other plugin installed that might be doing this?
Barry
MemberHi @teamduce,
Great question. There are actually quite a few ways you could do this depending on the fine detail of what you want to achieve and what sort of methods you feel most comfortable with.
The easiest method might be to use the Default Events Template setting and add an appropriate snippet to the default-template.php template (you can override and customize nearly all of our templates with ease). Alternatively you might use one of our many hooks such as tribe_events_before_html – in general though you will find lots of useful information throughout the following resources:
I hope that helps!

MemberI’m sorry you are hitting problems here, @dotwongdotcom.
Unfortunately, both those links result in 404/not found pages for me – have you removed them and is this an ongoing problem (can you post new links if so)?
Thanks!

MemberHi @blizzdesign – looks ok to me, can you confirm if you are still facing this problem?
@Hassan: similarly, are you still facing this issue? If so could you create a new thread of your own?
Thanks!
