MemberOK. I’ve amended that snippet slightly. Can you try once more time and see what we get if you change it to match this one? The primary change is to let us see what if any terms are applied to the post and which meta fields might exist.
If it were not for the fact that you had deactivated all other plugins except for those by Modern Tribe and had switched to a default, unmodified theme already I would strongly suspect a conflict here where some other component filters and modifies queries – but of course that doesn’t seem to be the case based on what you’ve detailed so far … but, hopefully, this one will shed some further light on the issue.
Thanks!

MemberOf course, and we are keen to resolve this ourselves – but I cannot offer a timeline as such.

MemberDefinitely – we’ll be as quick as we can – but please do note that, realistically, you may just miss the next maintenance release. However, we do hope you can consider renewing 🙂

MemberI’ll close this for the time being (just as a precaution, as otherwise threads are prone to being ‘hijacked’).

MemberThere are no major problems that come to mind – but particularly if you are concerned it is always a good idea to A) ensure you backup and know how to restore that backup and B) test it out within a development or staging environment on a duplicate of the live site.
I hope that helps!

MemberHi Alderinos,
Maybe a rule like this one would help?

MemberHi!
Either of those are possible (with the caveat that – at least by default – you would have only the purchasers’ names available and they would not necessarily be the same as the attendees).
Whichever path you take it’s going to involve some customization. This library of helpers (not officially supported) could give you some ideas, particularly functions like this one which aim to retrieve available inventory, etc – and even if they don’t precisely fit your needs it should give an idea of how the connections between products and event work.
Hope that helps!
February 10, 2014 at 3:53 pm in reply to: Don't show Event in List view but DO show in Calendar view. #102886Barry
MemberHi Slade,
Interesting idea: it’s not something that’s natively supported, though, and if you really need this I’m afraid you are going to have to build it yourself as a customization.
We’d certainly be interested in seeing this posted as a feature request, as other users may wish to add their support/further comments in support.
Thanks!
February 10, 2014 at 3:05 pm in reply to: Multiple events with same venue/organizer/event name #102866Barry
MemberAh, I see.
Well right now that isn’t directly supported (though with some care and depending on the nature of the pattern you may be able to generate most of the events, then selectively delete those that don’t fit – though this isn’t always possible).
Once we’ve completed our round of revisions to the recurrence code things like this will be more readily achievable (even if they are not immediately supported through the user interface) and in advance of that I would recommend posting your request over on UserVoice – until then I’m afraid you’d need to pretty much keep on doing as you are doing.
As there isn’t really much more we can offer at this time I’ll go ahead and close this thread.
Thanks again 🙂

MemberHi Slade:
I’m guessing you are referring to week view. This is a very Javascript-dependent view so customizing it poses some different challenges than, say, working with month view. This thread might give you a few ideas, here.
Hope that helps!

MemberHi Slade,
Great question: I don’t see why not. This is a tutorial that currently may not work but was written to achieve a similar thing with a different view. With a little work it could probably be restored to good health and adapted for service in other views, like week view.
Beyond that I can really only point you to our existing resources which cover much of the background for developing on top of The Events Calendar/Events Calendar PRO:
I hope that helps, or at least gets you started 🙂
