MemberHi – great question!
For each event you can set up one or more tickets and restrict the selling window so purchases can be made only within the date range you specify. However, this is not so fine grained that you can narrow the window down to just a few hours (so something like 10 April – 15 April is possible, but10 April – 15 April only between 12pm – 3pm would not be possible without some customization work).
With regards to stock limits – you can set the inventory for each ticket you sell. What you cannot currently do is share inventory across multiple tickets/events.
Does that clarify things at all? Thanks for your interest!

MemberHi – great question!
You should be able to tweak things here. We have a filter hook (tribe_events_ajax_response) which you can use to alter the array of data used to build up map view.
This array normally contains a markers element and that in turn will be filled with arrays representing each location/tooltip – so if you’re confident working with WordPress generally you could definitely make some changes here.
Good luck!

MemberI’ve updated our New User Primer as that isn’t quite accurate – please accept our apologies for any confusion.
Really what you’re facing here is a facet of how WooCommerce works (at least under default conditions), however it is possible to change it. Please see:

Does that help?

MemberHi – sorry to hear you are having problems.
Does this only happen when Visual Composer is activated or does it happen to all events you have modified with that plugin regardless of whether or not it is actually still active?

Is the above an example of an affected event and if so can you open it in the editor and tell me if there is anything in the excerpt field (like some whitespace or a bit of text like or anything else like that)?
Thanks!
Barry
MemberThat sounds like a great idea.
We’d love to help further but I’m afraid it’s just a little out of the scope of what we can assist with.
Barry
MemberHi! We’re making some changes that should roll out in an upcoming release – these are geared at making week view start at whatever time the earliest event in a given week is. That should help with the problem you’re facing (and you can of course favour a different view until that arrives).
If you’ve got any further questions/need help with anything else please do create a new thread and one of the team will be only too happy to help. Thanks!
Barry
MemberAwesome that the main issue was fixed 🙂
We do try hard to stick to a policy of one issue per thread, though, so for any further items please do create new threads as needed and one of the team will be only too happy to help.
Thanks!

MemberHi Lorenzo,
So to re-cap you can now access events in the admin environment with PRO enabled, but cannot view the single event pages on the frontend?
If so, deactivating all other plugins and switching to a default theme – then visiting Settings → Permalinks (you shouldn’t have to change anything, just visiting this page causes rewrite rules to be cleaned out).
I do worry that as can happen with some security plugins things have been “locked down” in such a way that it prevents a number of normal operations from being possible. With that in mind, if the above steps don’t help, I’d recommend setting up a new WordPress install without your security plugin and see if you can replicate the same issue.
Let me know if that helps!

MemberIs the remaining problem with “Use Google Libraries” and “Make your site social”, then – and if so is it possible to explore alternatives to those?

MemberUnfortunately I cannot replicate this: the ticket email is dispatched whether or not images are included. Are you positive that they are not being caught in a spam filter or something of that order?
Occasionally also there are problems where anti-spam measures by hosting providers inhibit the sending of emails in close succession to one another and depending on if that is the case in your hosting environment and how it is configured perhaps images are a trigger?
Regrettably I’m not sure how much else we can do to help – it doesn’t seem to be something the bulk of our users are hitting up against and nor is it something we can replicate.
Barry
MemberHappy to help – hopefully this gets us on track but please don’t hesitate to let us know if you hit further problems.
Barry
MemberHi Stefan: it may unfortunately be the case that you’ve hit up against a bug detected recently by one of our other users and which we are working hard to fix. Can you confirm if these events were largely imported from Facebook, and were they initially set to save as drafts (or, anything other than published)?
Barry
MemberApologies first of all for the delay in response as these new replies were unfortunately not flagged up on our side.
It’s going to be easiest for a number of reasons to stop your theme from enqueueing the Google Map libraries. So, the advice in my second reply is what I would continue to recommend here (for those of you using Avada). Once again, if they can provide a snippet to help with this we can probably further refine it if needed so it only impacts on event-related pages and so are more than happy to meet you and the authors of that theme half-way 🙂
Shoutmatt I think it’s going to be best if you create a new thread of your own:
Having a clear tutorial to help us diagnose this API conflict would be a great start – I’m still not sure it is an API conflict or something else … So, knowing what we need to do would be great.
When you create a new thread of your own you should be presented with some questions that effectively guide you through this: the essence of it though is that you should ensure your event plugins are up-to-date, deactivate all other plugins and switch to a default, unmodified theme – then check to see if the problem has gone.
Assuming it has, reactivate everything one-at-a-time and test at each stage to see if it has returned, taking note of whatever might be triggering the problem.
Exactly! I’m working with the new X-Theme (http://theme.co/x/) … I even reset the Theme to Twenty-Fourteen hoping that the maps would display and it still doesn’t.
So this suggests it may not be a problem with your theme – perhaps it is another plugin that is conflicting. Whatever the case, it’s going to be best if you could break your own problem out in to a new thread (and we generally do recommend that course of action rather than jumping into a thread created by another user, regardless of how similar the issue may seem as the steps to resolve it are often different).
Thanks!
Barry
MemberI’m going to mark this resolved as I don’t think there’s too much more we can offer on this occasion (of course if you disagree or need assistance with anything else please do in a new thread). Thanks!
Barry
MemberThanks for sharing Tony: I’ll go ahead and close this thread – but if we can assist with anything else please don’t hesitate to open new threads as needed. Thanks!
