Barry
MemberHi! Can you clarify your question a little and is this linked to the Eventbrite Tickets plugin at all? Thanks!
Barry
MemberHi: I’m sorry you’re hitting difficulties.
Though I note you said you are using the latest versions, please do double check you have 3.5.1 for both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO (as we pushed out two further builds in the last couple of days, both containing important fixes).
Is that all in place/are you still having issues with those builds?
Barry
MemberHi Brian, I’ll certainly get this logged for further investigation. Do note that we’re probably not going to be able to turn around a fix, if a fix is appropriate, in the very near term – simply because we have a large number of features to progress already – and so it could realistically be more than one release cycle before we can get to this.
Thanks for reporting π

We’ll help you in the thread you created originally (and I’ll go ahead and close this one to further replies).
Barry
MemberThe first thing to do here – because there were a few bugs in our 3.5 builds – is ensure you are using the very latest builds for The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO (both should be 3.5.1).
Can you confirm you are using those versions/is this still an issue with those in place?
Barry
MemberHi! This is something we’re considering building in as a future development of the plugins, but there are no firm plans just yet. With that in mind, though this is totally possible, it is very much custom development territory at this point.
Barry
MemberThat must be frustrating.
Locally, with the latest versions of all our plugins (we released a series of updates in the last couple of days so please do make sure all of your event plugins are at the latest versions) and WooCommerce 2.1.6 I don’t see any problems.
Can you confirm this occurs with no other plugins (except WooCommerce, WooCommerce Tickets and The Events Calendar) and only a default, unmodified theme running?
Thanks!
Barry
MemberHmm, well the first is probably easier to change than the second – however both I would say are, at this time, advanced customizations. We’re certainly open to feature requests for inclusion in future releases, though, if you’d like to post one π

MemberWell, conceivably you could store this as a piece of post meta per individual recurring event. The current user interface to some extent masks the fact that this is possible – but certainly if you added a meta box to the event editor and to facilitate this and handled updates for that piece of data by ajax it would be fairly smooth and clean.
I’m not sure how much that helps if at all, but I do feel confident in saying you can basically create a nice, clean implementation for this without too much work.
Good luck!

MemberOK: I could be misunderstanding but that sounds more like an issue with Easy Digital Downloads itself – unless there’s a reason to think this is caused by our plugin?
April 3, 2014 at 3:16 pm in reply to: How to migrate already existing products from WooCommerce to WooCommerce Tickets #127746Barry
MemberHi – great questions!
Since it is made with just the basic version of WooCommerce, iβm wondering if there is a way to make those products become events once iβve installed WooCommerce Tickets.
It’s possible – but definitely isn’t something that our plugin will automate and is probably going to be the sort of task that would be best suited to a custom-built script. Potentially, though, for the right developer, this would not necessarily be a hard transformation to make.
I need my courses to appear on Event Calendar and make people buy them from the month view of the events. I donβt have needs to both sell products and events, this is all about events
WooCommerce Tickets makes it so customers can select the tickets they want to buy from individual event pages, so it sounds like it’s a pretty close fit for your needs already. You could take this a step further and customize other views to let them select tickets from month or list view, too – and this unofficial library could help with something like that.
In summary then, I think it would be a great choice for you – but you might need to do just a little customization work to bring it all together.
I hope that answers your questions, but if we can assist with anything else please let us know π
Barry
MemberAnything is possible!
One way to workaround this could be to employ widgets (and this unofficial plugin lets you embed event widgets via shortcodes, should that make this easier). While widgets typically show less information than full views they themselves can be customized and there’s no reason you couldn’t build them up to show similar levels of detail.
Embedding full views is also possible. The same plugin I referenced previously is capable of adding the main event page to the website’s front page – so once again that could provide a viable strategy and you could build on that, or take the basic approach and tweak it to further meet your needs.
I hope that helps – and good luck π
Barry
MemberHi: can you ensure you have updated both Events Calendar PRO and The Events Calendar to 3.5.1? If so and there is still a problem, can you clarify if it is just between our plugins and Tubepress? That is, does deactivating Tubepress solve this?
Can you also confirm if instead of deactivating Tubepress deactivating just Events Calendar PRO solves this?
Thanks!
Barry
MemberHi! Does this thread help?
Barry
MemberThanks for applying the 3.5.1 fix (please do ensure both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO are at that version): can you additionally try visiting the Permalink Settings admin screen? You need not change anything, just visiting this should cause WordPress to refresh a set of rules it holds internally.
Let me know if that helps!
