MemberI’d be happy to take a peek if you still need help (with the permalink issue, if not the feature images) – unfortunately I can’t actually view your code, I just see a basically empty page. If you still need help can I ask you to post a new link to your code – perhaps via a different service like Pastebin or Gist?
Thanks!
July 4, 2014 at 12:33 am in reply to: How to see my attendees in the back office for an event in WooCommerce? #275321Barry
MemberI’m sorry you’re experiencing difficulties.
I try to make recurrent events without writing each title of events individually… I can’t.
Just to confirm, what sort of recurrence pattern are you trying to create? Are you following the steps described in our New User Primer for the creation of recurring events?
I want to see my class (yoga + SUP) by dates, region, hour and then to get access easily to the attendees of each class…
Maybe I need WooTickets ???If you are selling tickets and want to review a list of attendees then yes, something like WooCommerce Tickets would be a good option (it looks like you may already have purchased a license for this plugin).
Please note though that WooCommerce Tickets does not currently support recurring events.
Barry
MemberHi Jim – interesting idea!
I’m afraid that’s not facilitated out of the box but it would certainly be possible to do something as a customization. The first thing to do would be to decide on your control measure (are you going to test against the customer’s email address, for example, to detect if they have already purchased tickets? Or do you simply want to enforce a “soft” cap on a per-visit basis?).
As this is very much a custom development task there probably isn’t too much we can do to help but of course if you have any further specific questions we would be happy to point you in the right direction … bear in mind though that there’s a good chance this will partly hinge on working with/customizing WooCommerce itself rather than just WooCommerce Tickets, depending on the scope and depth of what you want to achieve.
Thanks!

MemberHi!
Ordinarily the add page would live at a URL something like this:
http://yoursite.com/events/community/add
If you are logged in and look at the Events menu in the admin toolbar at the top of the page, you should see a link to the Community Events submission page. Can you confirm exactly what URL that takes you too and also let me know the value of the community rewrite slug setting found in the Events > Settings > Community admin screen?
Thanks!
Barry
MemberLooks like you marked this as resolved so I’ll go ahead and close the thread (it will no longer be monitored by staff for further replies) … but of course if you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to create new threads as needed.

MemberOK – before we go any further (I’m afraid I cannot execute these particular steps on your behalf) can I ask you to disable the following as part of the troubleshooting process – or confirm you already ran through this at an earlier stage:
- You have a “Must Use” plugin which may relate to Go Daddy – can this temporarily be removed (if you simply create a new folder called disabled within the mu-plugins directory and move and files in there, that should achieve this – otherwise please seek help from the host/whomever put this plugin in place)
- You also have caching in place: can you disable this and follow the caching plugin author’s instructions for fully removing it? The effects of caching plugins can actually persist after they have been deactivated via the plugin admin screen: fully removing any cached files, any rules that have been added to the site’s .htaccess file and additionally removing the caching drop-in are all required
Thanks!

Member(…naturally, if you’re happy with the other hook and find that works for you then you could stick to that – there is often a myriad ways of tackling things like this.)
Barry
MemberSearching the source, it looks like the hook is actually
tribe_events_event_save. When I hooked intosave_posts_tribe_eventsnothing happened but the former was called as expected.Apologies, my fault – it should be save_post (singular not plural). The basic form is:
save_post_{post_type}
So in the case of events:
save_post_tribe_events
Apologies for the confusion!
Barry
MemberHmm, puzzling because I noticed no particular slowdown.
Just to clarify, are you inspecting the response headers on your phone itself, or via your desktop/laptop? I notice you initially said this was via the terminal on your mac. For myself, I am seeing x-cache hits for both your main events page and your site’s front page (and see PRO is currently active).
One further question on that front is, when you initially notice an x-cache miss if you test again does it remain a ‘miss’, or does it subsequently become a ‘hit’?
X-cache headers aside it’s a tricky one to troubleshoot since, as before, it loaded pretty snappily for me via a cellphone.

MemberHi morespinach,
It’s generally best to avoid using private replies unless you are sharing sensitive information – simply to help other customers who might be researching the same/very similar issues in the future.
Not sure if you read my message. I already said that the events we now create:
1. Are being created oddly as in the events listing in the admin area (which is sorted in the chronologically descending order — new events are at the top) the new events are now being shown at the bottom. The dates etc seem fine, but wordpress is somehow recognizing them wrongly.
Yes, I read your message but admittedly it wasn’t clear to me that you were referring to the admin events list in your initial post – thanks for clarifying 🙂
2. I did include the URL of a newly created event. That shows a 404.
Please read my message again and let me know how I can help you help me. After over a day you have merely updated the forum post with a completely useless idea without reading what I wrote.
I hope you can appreciate I simply wanted to clarify that there was indeed an existing future event (given I couldn’t see it listed under the upcoming events list). It’s not uncommon for people experiencing difficulties to create and delete events while waiting for a reply and, while I can understand your frustration, I simply wanted to flesh out the situation.
I paid 65 dollars for 24 hour support. Hope you can help me.
For the avoidance of any doubt, please note that, yes, we do strive to reply within 24hrs of a post being made within the working week – while that’s not always possible we do work hard to ensure we meet this goal and I believe we are operating within it at present 🙂
From here I’d love a little more information:
- Can you share the system info provided in the Events > Help admin screen?
- In addition to the above, can you confirm if you are/have been using a caching plugin?
- When did this start happening – has it been a problem from the moment you started using The Events Calendar? If not, did you update anything or change any settings prior to observing this behaviour?
Thanks!
Barry
MemberDefinitely, that’s a good idea and I’ll log it in our issue tracker.
Thanks also for confirming that worked for you – I’ll go ahead and close this thread but of course if we can help with anything else please do feel free to create new threads as needed and one of the team will be only too happy to help. Last but not least, if you had a moment and wished to leave a few words about The Events Calendar on the plugin review page that would definitely be appreciated and we’d love to hear your thoughts 🙂
Thanks again!

MemberYes, I’m part of the team – but Event Rocket is “extra-curricular”, if you like, and really just a personal project – so it’s not something that I or other team members can really support here on the official forums but hopefully it will be helpful to you and others even so 🙂
In any case, I’m glad that works for you and will go ahead and close this thread. Naturally if you need help with any other issues please do feel free to create new threads as needed and one of the team will be happy to help.
Last but not least, if you have a moment and wished to leave a plugin review that would definitely be appreciated – thanks again!
Barry
MemberExcellent, glad it’s working 🙂
I’ll go ahead and close this thread – as ever, if you need help with other issues, do feel free to create new threads as needed.
