MemberOK – glad everything worked out in the end 🙂
Barry
MemberNo problem.
Based on my understanding, this technique of hiding events from the theme’s own countdown feature was essentially – and perhaps oddly – dependent on the existence of a bug which we have now fixed … if that is in fact the case then I don’t think we’re going to be able to assist.
That said, another team member is indeed looking into this and I’ll be sure to post and update as things progress on that front 🙂
Barry
MemberThanks for confirming 🙂
It’s not something I can replicate locally, though. I wonder if you could confirm the outcome of the following standard troubleshooting steps:
- Can you deactivate all other plugins except for The Events Calendar, WooCommerce Tickets and WooCommerce
- If you have been using a caching plugin, please be sure to follow the author’s instructions on removing it completely
- Can you also switch to a default, unmodified theme
- Does the same problem still occur?
Assuming this solves the problem, try reactivating everything – testing at each stage to try and uncover the seat of the conflict.
Is that viable here and does it shed any light on this?
Thanks!

MemberHmm, ok. As far as I’m aware there are no known bugs with the organizer filter. Is it possible you have multiple organizers of the same name? If for instance you visit the Events > Organizers screen, do you see more than one Salsa Brisa listed (duplicates of one another, effectively)?

MemberHi – sorry you’re experiencing difficulties.
I’ll check in with the team about Kriesi’s request (I’m not personally aware of it, but someone else may have dealt with it) – but am I right in understanding this particular event countdown to be a feature of the theme itself, rather than our own countdown widget?
It appears that this is no longer an option per the 3.6.1 changelog that mentions: “Fixed an issue where the “hide From Event Listings” checkbox was not hiding events from Month View”
Without knowing how the theme is obtaining its list of events to use in the countdown feature it’s hard to guess why this would be the case. If you have any insights definitely feel free to share – otherwise if you can bear with me until I can track down Kriesi’s request that would be great 🙂
I do have to note though that, generally speaking, if another vendor decides to build a feature that integrates with The Events Calendar its proper operation and maintenance is really an issue for them – though of course if there happens to be a valid bug we’re always happy to look into it.
Thanks again for your patience.

MemberHi – sorry you’re facing difficulties here. On viewing your site it looks like the main events page is functional – did you work around this/do you need any further assistance?
Thanks!
July 21, 2014 at 12:16 am in reply to: How can I create a custom template specifically for the "Day" view? #468001Barry
MemberHi! Would it work for you to add a conditional statement based on tribe_is_day() to the top of your custom template and load an alternative template for day view if it evaluates to true?
Barry
MemberHi – sorry you’re facing difficulties here – that certainly sounds like an unusual problem.
Can you point me to a URL where I can observe this?
Thanks!
Barry
MemberSorry you’re facing difficulties.
There certainly seems to be a disparity between the various views. Is it possible you are using a caching plugin? If so, does clearing the cache or else completely removing the caching plugin resolve this?
I placed emphasis on “completely” as depending on your particular setup simply deactivating a caching plugin doesn’t necessarily guarantee that cached pages will no longer be served (so following the plugin author’s advice in this regard is worthwhile).
Failing that, I do see you already tried deactivating all other plugins and switching to a default, unmodified theme: did that resolve this or let you establish that there was a conflict with a specific plugin/your theme?
Thanks!
July 21, 2014 at 12:00 am in reply to: receiving only one ticket (via Email) although two tickets were sold #467905Barry
MemberHi – sorry you’re experiencing difficulties.
Please note though that – simply to avoid confusion – we try hard to stick to one issue per thread. I’ll try to answer both of the questions you raised here but, ideally, if you need more help with the 2nd one it would be best to create a new thread.
1) if paypal doesnt automplete order and i complete manually the stock of tickets does not change. that means if i have i ticket available and i manually complete the order process – the next time i still have 1 ticket available… what could that be?
Is the stock definitely incorrect?
If a sale goes through the stock will be adjusted immediately (at least ordinarily). Completing the order doesn’t cause a further adjustment – so if for instance you see that an order has been placed and login to complete it, you probably shouldn’t expect a further adjustment of inventory levels.
2) when i buy more than one tickt in one purchase, in my test two tickets, i just receive one Ticket Email… i checked everything – but didnt see how to change this… any idea?
Were the tickets not all contained within that email? If for instance you purchase 5 tickets for a certain event, you can expect the customer to receive a single ticket email that contains all 5 tickets.
Does that clarify things or help at all? Just let me know if not but – as above – if you need further help with your ticket emails question please do create a new thread for that one.
Thanks!
Barry
MemberNo problem – this things can easily happen – glad you got it sorted 🙂
I’ll go ahead and close this thread, but of course if we can help with anything else please don’t hesitate to create new threads as needed and one of the team will be only too happy to help.
As an aside, if you had a moment to spare and wished to leave some thoughts about The Events Calendar on our review page that would certainly be appreciated.
Thanks again!

MemberHi Naomi:
However it is still weird since almost all the events are organized by the one actually I couldn’t get rid of. Anyways, thanks for your help, I can continue again!
So just to clarify – are you actually using other filters here (is that what you mean when you say they are organized by the one you couldn’t get rid of)?
Sometimes APM (which is the part of the system that manages Filters & Columns) can be just a little fiddly … what if you hit Clear, navigate to a different page and then return?

MemberHi – it’s been a while so I’ll go ahead and close the thread (it will no longer be monitored by staff for replies). Of course if there are any other questions please don’t hesitate to open new threads and let us know 🙂

MemberHi – sorry you’re experiencing difficulties.
I see you already ran through our standard troubleshooting steps (disabling all other plugins and switching to a default, unmodified theme) which is great! Can you confirm if that resolved the problem and, if so, did it allow you to identify this as only occurring when a certain plugin is in place, or only occurring with your current theme?
Thanks!
Barry
MemberHi Rick – how strange, sorry you’re facing this.
Honestly I’m not familiar with Weaver but might it be worth reaching out to the theme author here? It seems like something where there should only ever be one of those featured images and perhaps a simple tweak to the theme code would prevent multiple banners from ever being output?
