Hi, with a recent update – tickets that become sold out no longer display “Sold Out!” they say “Free!” I didn’t think it was a huge problem right away – but someone just got a free ticket. Is this a known issue? Is there any fix for it? I anticipant some events to sell out this weekend :/

Thank you for the great plugins!!

Hi – sorry you’re facing difficulties here.

I don’t believe this is a bug and I certainly can’t replicate it locally: is it possible that you – or someone else working on your site – inadvertently changed the price to zero and/or there was still stock remaining?

Or, could it be the ticket products themselves were edited in WooCommerce’s product editor and stock control was turned off (perhaps accidentally)?

Last but not least, can you reliably replicate this yourself and if so can you provide a step-by-step breakdown to help me replicate the issue?

    Let me know!

I feel a bit dumb, we always have 40 tickets at 40 bucks and after editing so many tickets I managed to stop looking at the attributes all together and changed the price to 0 instead of the stock. ha! Thanks for the response!

No problem – this things can easily happen – glad you got it sorted 🙂

I’ll go ahead and close this thread, but of course if we can help with anything else please don’t hesitate to create new threads as needed and one of the team will be only too happy to help.

As an aside, if you had a moment to spare and wished to leave some thoughts about The Events Calendar on our review page that would certainly be appreciated.

    Thanks again!
