Salsa Brisa
ParticipantIt says published 300, but when I click it, it doesn’t show me the imported events. First I thought it was because my license was almost expired, but after paying for another year, it still doesn’t work. I updated everything.

MemberHi salsabrisa – sorry to hear you are experiencing difficulties.
So – just to clarify – this is impacting on the admin list of events? If so, can you take a look at the Filters & Columns box just above the list … sometimes a filter is accidentally applied and this can impact on the events that are actually listed.
In the first instance, can you try hitting the Clear button in that box? Does that help?

ParticipantDear Barry
Thanks for your answer. Yes it helped! However it is still weird since almost all the events are organized by the one actually I couldn’t get rid of. Anyways, thanks for your help, I can continue again!
Best, Naomi

ParticipantI answered to fast. I saw only my old events, the ones I uploaded lately through CSV didn’t show up in the list of “all” or published items. And now again, it doesn’t show any of the events, even when I use the clear button again. Do you have another suggestion?

So just to clarify – are you actually using other filters here (is that what you mean when you say they are organized by the one you couldn’t get rid of)?
Sometimes APM (which is the part of the system that manages Filters & Columns) can be just a little fiddly … what if you hit Clear, navigate to a different page and then return?

ParticipantI tried that as well…
What I meant is especially lately, like “I” am the organizer (called Salsa Brisa). The filter was opened with Salsa Brisa, but still it didn’t show me any of the events (so it should have showed me almost all of my events). Now it shows me some events, but not all (pe my last CSV import. I tried also to find them through different filters but no…).July 21, 2014 at 8:29 am #471481Barry
MemberHmm, ok. As far as I’m aware there are no known bugs with the organizer filter. Is it possible you have multiple organizers of the same name? If for instance you visit the Events > Organizers screen, do you see more than one Salsa Brisa listed (duplicates of one another, effectively)?

ParticipantNo I checked, no duplicates… 🙁 I had some duplicates in the location, I removed them, but nothing went differently…

ParticipantIs there not a bug in the CSV upload? I can find some of the former events, but my final upload which I did with CSV of the august events are completely not findable. However the show up online. The ones of the FB events I uploaded last week I can find through using the filter.

It’s possible, but the fact they are showing on the front end of the site suggests to me they were uploaded without any hitches. Am I correct in thinking if you remove all filters you can find all your events within the admin events list?
One other thing I just realized is that there may actually be a bug when you sort by organizer or venue. In other words, the organizer filter itself is fine – but if you then try to re-order the list by clicking on the organizer column’s header it may throw a spanner in the works.
Could that be the problem here?

ParticipantIf I remove all filters it SOMETIMES gives SOME events, never all. I need to refresh, log out etc, to see some events. Because after I “clear” everything, it sometimes gives me some events, and sometimes nothing at all. and then I need to log out etc again, to be able to see some events again. Shall I try to upload the event calendar pro again?

MemberThat could be worth a try, but before you do I think at this point I’d recommend running through our regular troubleshooting steps:
- Please ensure The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO are up-to-date
- Deactivate all other plugins
- Switch to a default, completely unmodified theme like Twenty Thirteen
- Does the same issue persist?
- Assuming for a moment it does not, please now start reactivating everything – checking at each stage to see if the problem has returned
This is a great way to zero in on any potential conflicts that might be impacting.
