MemberInteresting. Is that essentially the same as this “official” extension of the same name? If not, I wonder if the approved version available via the WooThemes website might be a better option – is that something you can explore?
Alternatively, could it be worth reaching out to the author of the plugin you’re using to ask for their assistance? Unfortunately – particularly with plugins with a comparatively small number of downloads – we can’t generally assist with integration issues where further third-party plugins are brought into use.

MemberHi – sorry for the delay, I was out-of-office travelling yesterday and unfortunately was unable to respond.
1) So is the only potential solution to upgrade in following order:
a) 2.0.11
b) 3.0
c) 3.6.1
Please confirm? It’s difficult to say, as there are a huge number of factors to consider (especially since, by the sounds of things, the issue is something other than that experienced by other users in similar circumstances) but that would certainly be worth a try – albeit I might suggest adding 3.5 after 3.0 and before 3.6.1. I’d also recommend reverting to a default theme and deactivating all other plugins – except of course for The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO – for the duration of the update process.
In addition to the 2 questions above, how would we even get the older versions? ECP downloads in our profile only go back to v3.3.
Did you originally purchase a license using a different user account? Essentially, the download area only provides access to versions that were released in periods where you possessed a valid license.
That said, if you need access to other versions please do feel free to email us (referencing the URL of this thread) and I’m sure we can provide you with zips for any versions you are unable to access directly 🙂
Our email address is pro (at) tri (dot) be – thanks!

MemberThanks for sharing!
So your theme modifies the default timezone setting and that is resulting in this problem – the code in question lives in _framework/initial-load.php (the getTimezoneByOffset() function).
I’m not honestly sure why that is required since WordPress itself ordinarily takes care of managing date/time settings – but could you enquire with the theme author and perhaps ask if there is a way to cleanly turn this feature off?
Thanks!

MemberWe can definitely see if others can chip in with additional advice, I think in the main though the reality is that enforcing page breaks in HTML emails is, quite simply, as good as impossible – at least in an effective way that works across all or most email clients.
Generally speaking I wonder if it creates a problem for most users? It may be that those cases where customers order multiple tickets they can simply print off the pages, staple them together and present them at the venue without it causing too much of an issue?

MemberOK – well the next step is probably to run through standard troubleshooting procedures and switch to a default theme and turn off all other plugins except, in this case, WooCommerce, and see if the same thing still occurs.
Assuming it does not, start reactivating everything and test at each stage to see if the problem has returned: this should hopefully isolate whatever is conflicting.
With that said, it’s really sounding like something strictly on the WooCommerce side of life (or at least something that is conflicting with their plugin specifically, rather than relating to WooCommerce Tickets) and so it may be best to seek further help from the Woo team if the above doesn’t help.

MemberWe’d love to help if we can but, honestly, the base problem remains unclear.
So far I understand that some issue crops up if WP CLI’s search-replace command is used: can you share the actual parameters being used here? Certainly if your service provider’s script starts modifying database entries (even if they happen to use a respected tool like WP CLI to accomplish this) I’m not sure that by itself indicates there is a real problem in our plugin code.
- Are they trying to use the search-replace command to update URLs throughout the database, or something else?
- What is the actual problem that results from this? I understand your host’s deployment script is failing, but as you can appreciate it’s very hard for us to know what’s going on within that script – is a specific error generated by this command that you or they can share with us?
Thanks!

MemberAwesome, glad that helped 🙂
I’ll go ahead and close this thread – but if we can help with anything else please don’t hesitate to create new threads as needed and one of the team will be only too happy to help.
Last but not least, if you have a moment to spare we’d love to hear from you over on our review page if you had any thoughts on The Events Calendar you wanted to share 🙂
Thanks again!
