MemberHi! You could try adding a tribe-events/tribe-events.css file to your theme and placing the code in there – there’s a full description of setting this up in our Themer’s Guide π
tri.be/support/documentation/events-calendar-themers-guide/#customizingstyles
Does that help?

MemberHi – I’d love to take a peek and build a better picture of what’s happening, but on visiting your main URL or your main events page URL I am met with 403 (Forbidden) or 404 (Not Found) errors. Is maintenance work ongoing or anything of that order?

MemberHi Laura,
I’m sorry to see you are hitting difficulties. I do see that you already ran through our standard troubleshooting steps though which is awesome:
YES, I’ve deactivated all other plugins to check for a plugin conflict.
YES, I’ve reverted to the 2011 default WordPress theme (with other plugins still deactivated) to check for a theme conflict. Can you confirm if this allowed you to identify any conflicts? I’d like to be doubly sure as I see some different behaviour locally than I do when visiting your site.
Thanks!

MemberHi Γyvind,
It looks like what you are experiencing is actually expected behaviour: those events from August that are showing up are still current in September because they do not end until November or December.
So is your objective essentially to show only events that started in the month being viewed? This might make a worthy feature request and you are more than welcome to post one – this lets other members of the community comment and show their support for the idea, which can be useful when we prioritize new features and functionality π
Thanks!

MemberHi Keith,
Sorry to hear you’re hitting difficulties.
When I look at your site I can see that you’ve got some sort of (shortcode-driven?) social media stuff in some of your event descriptions. Is this generated by another plugin or by your theme and does removing it resolve the problem?
Thanks!

MemberHi – great question!
Are you comfortable setting up custom CSS rules and stylesheets? If so, you could try adding the following rules:
#event_cost .tribe-community-event-info td small { color: pink; font-size: 50px }If you are unfamiliar with this process then please take a look at our Themer’s Guide: it explains the basics of setting up custom stylesheets like tribe-events/tribe-events.css within your theme π
I hope that helps!

MemberHmm, it’s quite hard to pin this down as I’m seeing a number of strange effects.
I can’t for instance navigate to your main events page, it’s only possible for me to view (a selection of) events by hovering over the events item in your main nav menu. Similarly, if I actually click on an event then I see the “Hello World” blog post but nothing that looks like a single events post.
Pulled plugins and reverted to 2012 and it does work properly in 2012β¦
Thanks for taking the time to try. So the problem is isolated to your theme, basically? Have you made any customizations to your theme (relating to that effect when I hover over “Events” in the nav menu for instance, I do see it has a custom tribe-events directory within it, just wondering if any other changes you made might be impacting)?
