MemberHi Steven,
It seems to work for me so I’m a bit puzzled by this.
Is it possible that when you try to import the event you are pasting the complete URL into the field instead of the event ID itself (16902264127 in this case)?
Barry
MemberHi!
It’s very hard to guess what might have gone wrong, especially if the only time it happened someone else – such as your client – was in the driving seat.
I tend to think these things are rarely random events, as such, so perhaps the order was never moved to a status of completion prior to the refund actions taking place (and so was never included in the attendee list in the first place)?
Difficult to say – but it sounds like, at this point, you are happy this isn’t a general bug or conflict?
Barry
MemberYes – from within your custom copy of modules/venue.php, remove these sections:

https://gist.github.com/anonymous/a7a2a410f833af26129f
Does that help?

MemberAh, I see.
No problem – hopefully you figure things out with the theme (sounds like a pretty odd problem!).
What I’ll do is close out this topic – but if the issue does persist and you need further help from our end, please just create a fresh topic and reference this one if it makes sense to do so π
Thanks again!

MemberAt present, I am afraid to say there is not unless you install and activate a third party plugin such as Event Rocket (which you are welcome to use, but is not officially supported here).
That might tide you over for a while – ultimately we hope that the same sort of functionality will be incorporated in one of our official Events Calendar PRO releases, though π

MemberIt doesn’t sound like you/your client are doing anything wrong when refunding.
Can you clarify something though – when you say that you downloaded the entire live source and synced the database, was the damage already done, so to speak?
In other words, did you find you were able to replicate the same problem with a fresh test order – or was your database a backup made before the point where your client made the refund?
The reason I ask if that if you were inspecting the same database, even with all other plugins deactivated and a default theme in place, I wouldn’t expect any orders/attendee screen data that was already “damaged” to be repaired all of a sudden.
Does that help/make sense?

MemberSo what I mean is, conventionally and assuming you are not using WPML for the moment, if you have correctly configured WordPress to operate in French then even the login screen (/wp-login.php) should show in French.
That isn’t what I’m seeing when I look at your site so that suggests you haven’t set things up correctly… perhaps the following resource will help to explain things in more detail?
Barry
MemberNo problem, John – and yep creating a new topic of your own would be optimal here π

MemberI can’t offer any guarantees, I’m afraid, but I’d like to think we’re talking about something in the space of a few days.

MemberHi papertower,
I’d have thought that should be possible via a custom WP_Query or by using tribe_get_events().
Recurring events are composed of a parent event and multiple children – so setting the eventDisplay property to list and specifying the correct post_parent ID ought to get you what you need here (and, of course, you would set posts_per_page accordingly).
Does that help at all?

MemberHi Steven,
I’m sorry you’ve hit up against difficulties.
I tried creating a new Event by Importing the Eventbrite ID & received the error message βWe were unable to import your Eventbrite eventβ.
This was definitely worth trying and I’m unsure why it wouldn’t have worked.
- Can you confirm you successfully “got authorization” when setting this up via the Events → Settings → Eventbrite admin screen and that no notices are appearing at the top of the page warning you you still need to do this?
- Would it be possible for you to share – by private reply if you prefer – the URL of the Eventbrite event in question?
Thanks!

MemberGreat question Liz!
I am afraid we do not. While plugins like Community Events allow registered users to submit events without frontend access, none of our plugins directly facilitate the registration process itself.
If standard WordPress registration is in not sufficient or doesn’t capture enough information for you, perhaps you can leverage another plugin for this element of the process?

MemberNeil: it does seem that – unfortunately – there is a bug here and the team have actually been preparing a fix which ought to be released imminently.
With that in mind, I apologize for the disruption but if you can hold on a little longer we ought to be able to get the solution into your hands π
