MemberHi!
Typically, when we talk of subscribing, we mean that the visitor is using a tool – such as iCal or Outlook in the case of .ics feeds – that maintains an up-to-date list of upcoming events (which it normally does by periodically and automatically visiting the feed URL and seeing what’s new).
A straightforward export on the other hand generally functions as a “one off” dump of data. In other words, it doesn’t imply an ongoing relationship (so while you could certainly repeat the process and regularly export/import the data, the app you are using won’t necessarily set about keeping it up-to-date of its own accord).
Ultimately the distinction comes down to how you obtain the information and what you instruct your calendar app to do with it. At least in my own testing, though, the official iCal app suffers no problems like you have outlined, nor could my colleague replicate using an iPhone device.
If you were able to distill this down to a specific set of steps (along with a note of exactly what URLs you are visiting and which device/calendar app you are using) we could certainly take another shot at replicating the problem π

MemberFor sure – we’ll be here to help as best we can π
If you do have time to troubleshoot further (or perhaps can do so on a test site) definitely update this topic at any time with your findings. In the event two weeks or more elapses and it is automatically closed, simply create a new topic and link back to this one.
Thanks!

MemberHi Franck,
Thanks for getting in touch!
1/ DO you have a pack with all your package and a special price ?
No – at least, not at this time – but if that’s a problem do check back regularly as creating special bundles is something we’ve certainly considered and may possibly do in the future π
2/ can i get a map with all the events ? If yes how ?
Events Calendar PRO ships with a map view that comes close to this: it isn’t guaranteed to display all events at once, though, simply because on some sites that could be a lot of events!
However, our plugins are nothing if not customizable and it’s certainly possible to tweak things via some (small) custom development tasks if for instance you want all events to show in map view, all of the time.
3/ if we pay can you help us to get the same than the webesite of your showcase ? Is it a true support with help to build the agenda we want ?
As a premium license holder, we’d certainly consider a request for a copy of our demo site theme, but I can’t offer any guarantees there. You should also know that we do not typically take on customization tasks that would be better suited to a freelancer or small web shop.
For example : https://www.medspeaks.com/
Can you tell me how can get the same type of agendaβ¦ (with a map with all events) ?Map view comes pretty close here – check it out:
http://wpshindig.com/events/map/
Again, like almost every aspect of the plugin, you can tweak and customize this to get the exact look and feel you desire – so looking at your own example if the problem is it is taking up too much space it would certainly be viable to tighten this up π
I hope that helps and I look forward to seeing you on our Events Calendar PRO forum!

MemberHi Sky,
I’m sorry to hear the update process didn’t work for you.
Can you describe what exactly happened – did you see any error messages, or anything of that nature, after attempting to update?
If you initially tried this via the main plugin admin screen, can you try again via the Dashboard → Updates screen?
Last but not least, if all else fails remember that you can obtain a copy of our latest version from the download page and update manually π
Let me know how you get on!

MemberHi Thomas,
Sorry to hear you’ve been hitting difficulties.
When you refer to the filter bar in the admin menu, do you mean Advanced Post Manager? If so there is unfortunately a bug we are hoping to fix soon.
August 10, 2015 at 6:06 am in reply to: Filter Bar – List all Organizers & Return to Full Event Listing #994695Barry
MemberHi Emily,
1) Is there a way to list ALL organizers? Right now I can only show those who are linked t a current event.
It’s probably possible to do this as a customization, but the default behaviour is not to show “empty” fields (such as organizers with no events – and the same applies to categories, tags, etc) since the end goal is to help visitors find events.
2) Are there any other options besides clicking the βReset Filterβ link to getting back to the main event list after filtering options? Our organization is full of computer-challenged folks and they really need a button that says βGo back to the full listingβ or something like that.
How about adding a menu item to the main events page, or adding a piece of text with a helpful message in the Add HTML before event content field, which you can adjust via the Events → Settings → Display screen?

MemberHi Andrew,
It may be best to follow-up with the gang over at WooThemes as WooCommerce is of course their baby, so they will be better placed to advise on the best way of achieving this goal.
However, this post does show one avenue for automating the completion of orders (I’m unsure if it will in itself result in automated stock management – but it could be worth a try).

MemberHi A S, glad you found the answer!
Tony: please do create a new topic of your own if (as I suspect in this case) the source of the problem is something different than what A S described π

MemberThanks for clarifying.
So the WooCommerce philosophy is that manual changes to orders (including manually setting them to a status of “completed”) should not necessarily result in automated adjustment of stock levels and I think that’s what you’re hitting up against here.
You should be able to make use of a “reduce line item stock” option in the order editor, however. Would that help here?
Barry
Member… Please also note we’re rebuilding several facets of recurrence for our upcoming release, so this should hopefully be resolved in the process π

MemberHi Yolanda,
There does seem to be a bug there and I’ll log it for further attention.
In the meantime, what if you set it to end “after 2 events” – does that achieve the desired result here?

MemberHi Andrew,
I’m sorry to hear you’ve hit up against difficulties.
Can you provide some more insights as to the payment gateways you are currently using – and does this happen with orders made through all of them, or just one in particular?
I also wonder if you could look at one of the tickets in the actual WooCommerce product editor: if you look at the inventory tab, are the stock levels incorrect there, too?
Last but not least, are you manually completing orders?
Thanks!
Barry
MemberMy pleasure π
Barry
MemberHmm, you could try it and see – depending on other CSS added by your theme, etc, it may be that isn’t sufficient by itself if you prefer a z-index based solution.
Best way to find out is to experiment – and you can always fall back on my suggestion π
