Barry
MemberLicenses β I just checked my account here and my WP dashboard, all keys are correct but give the message βSorry, this key is out of installs.β. Expiry on my account here is marked as July 2013.
OK – in the first instance can you go here and if possible remove the license(s) for each affected site, then log back in to your site and re-enter or re-submit the keys?
If that fails to resolve this please accept our apologies for the inconvenience and send an email including your PayPal receipt (or transaction number, simply because it helps us to work through these issues in a more timely manner) with a link to this thread to [email protected], marking your email for the attention of my colleague Leah. She’ll be happy to assist.
Here is an htaccess file copy
Interesting; I’m unsure why our plugin would cause the rules to be repeated so many times. I’m also confident that it would not have generated this rule in particular:
eRule ^index\.php$ β [L]Does these problems with the .htaccess file only happen when you update The Events Calendar/Events Calendar PRO? What other plugins are currently active in your installation?
Barry
MemberSorry for the misunderstanding.
The easiest way would be to use the same wrapper template, whether that’s ecp-single-template.php or something else, and insert a conditional statement to detect if the view is for a single venue (and load a different template from there if so).
Depending on what you’re comfortable with you could alternatively filter the selection of template using tribe_events_template_ecp-single-template.
Does that help?
Barry
MemberGlad you’re able to workaround this (and for confirming that the issue is isolated to the most recent version(s) – all useful stuff) π
Barry
Member(As an aside, I’m going to move this topic across to the Eventbrite forum.)
Barry
MemberHi Amilkar, can you tell me what the exact error is? If your server is utilizing PHP 5.4 or newer it’s quite possible that this is an easily fixable issue we’re already aware of – but if you could provide some further detail first of all in case it’s a different issue that would be great.
Barry
MemberGreat π

Member… Before we do anything further, though, can I ask you to run through the following steps:
- Please ensure all your Modern Tribe plugins are up-to-date and in-synch. If you are using Eventbrite Tickets 1.0.5 then you must also use The Events Calendar 2.0.11
- Deactivate all other plugins
- Switch to a default and unmodified theme, such as Twenty Ten
- Test again: is the problem resolved?
- If so, reactivate everything one-at-a-time, testing at each stage to see if the problem has returned
Thanks!

MemberOK; well Status: 400 means the request is being rejected due to bad syntax. I’m not exactly sure why that would be – but if you can bear with me I’ll see if I can get some input from the team π
Barry
MemberHmm, I’m afraid I can’t replicate this using the default Twenty Twelve theme; and actually I had to edit your version of ecp-page-template.php (and remove calls to the_post() etc) to avoid errors.
This one might be specific to your theme – can you try temporarily switching to a default and unmodified theme to see if the same problem persists?
Barry
MemberHi Tim, sorry to hear that.
I believe the team are working on making the plugin faster and more efficient as part of the drive toward the 3.0 release – however it would be difficult to give you any further advice (beyond the use of a suitable caching plugin) on this one though, I’m afraid.
Barry
MemberI’m not sure it is quite the same issue – can you share the code for your custom ecp-page-template.php so I can see how you have structured it?
Barry
MemberHi lestyn: can you create a separate topic for this problem?

MemberHave you entered your Eventbrite API key in your user profile page (and can you double check that it is accurate)?
February 11, 2013 at 9:53 am in reply to: How can I remove the Eventbrite API key field from registraion/profile form? #32427Barry
MemberSorry Alek, I’m afraid there isn’t much more I can offer you here.
That code works for me (if I login as user #2 for instance, and 2 is one of the allowed IDs, then I can see the Eventbrite fields on the profile page. If I remove 2 from the list of allowed IDs then I can no longer see them) but if it doesn’t work for you then you will have to workaround this by other means.
Barry
MemberYou could edit your list.php template (please see our themer’s guide and template overrides tutorial first of all, if you are unsure about this process) and add the tribe_get_ticket_form() template tag in there.
Does that help?
