Site slow since installing Event Cal Pro

My client’s site has slowed quite a bit upon installing Event Cal Pro. The functionality of the event plug-in is terrific, but I would very much like to address the huge hit in overall site performance since beginning to use this plug-in. Are there any tips you can offer to combat this issue? The slow-down can be experienced on the front and back end when viewing or managing the site.

Hi Tim, sorry to hear that.

I believe the team are working on making the plugin faster and more efficient as part of the drive toward the 3.0 release – however it would be difficult to give you any further advice (beyond the use of a suitable caching plugin) on this one though, I’m afraid.
