MemberHi Aidin,
Have you looked at the tribe_get_city() function? If you are within the loop on an events page it will assume the current event, or alternatively you can pass in the post ID of an event:
$city = tribe_get_city(503);Does that help here?

MemberHi 4dscs … tricky question. I’d like to say it will be available in a few weeks but I just can’t guarantee it. We’re happy to do our best to help out and send over a copy of Pro if that gives you a more concrete basis to build on.

MemberApologies again for the inconvenience, Thomas. It sounds from your other thread like you were able to work around this – but let us know if you need any further support on this one.
Barry
MemberHopefully it will not take too long – if at all possible it will be released this week (as my colleague Rob suggested in another thread).
Thanks for your patience!
Barry
MemberSorry for the inconvenience, Thomas. Producing a WooCommerce 2.0 compatible release is our number one priority so hopefully you’ll be able to update soon.

MemberHi marcjulia, thanks for your comments.
If we’ve let you down on the support front then I apologize, we do strive to do everything we feel can reasonably be expected of us and if this has fallen short then we really are sorry.
To pick up on some of your other points, we’re aware that making our plugins play nicely with WPML is something that we need to work on, but this isn’t trivial to do and nor to the best of my knowledge do we market our plugins on the basis of WPML-compatibility.
On a related note, translations are a community effort – we very much rely on the help of our global community to provide these translations and welcome all contributions. If you find shortcomings in a translation and are able to do take the time to revise and amend it we’d be more than happy to take a look at your amendment.
Easier customization of tickets is something we’re hoping to realize in a future release. Whether that is handled by changing the engine used to generate the PDFs or simply offering more support resources to guide people through this hasn’t been decided yet, but we do realize it’s something of a pain point for a number of users and have taken that on board.
WooTickets itself is a young piece of software but will continue to develop and where practicable will reflect the needs of our users – so, as we’ve mentioned a number of times, your feedback is wholly welcome and appreciated.
Thanks 🙂

MemberHello Lyse,
If you have literally just set things up then there’s a good chance this is due to incompatibility with WooCommerce 2.0.
We’re working as fast as we can to produce a version of WooTickets that is compatible, though (you’ll see some related threads elsewhere on the WooTickets forum about this).
Can you confirm if this is the problem (the easiest way is to log in to your WordPress dashboard, then navigate to the list of plugins and check what version of WooCommerce you are using).

MemberIf you login to eventbrite.com and edit the event you should see the URL there is of this pattern:
http://www.eventbrite.com/myevent?eid=1234123412Hopefully you can obtain the ID that way? (The ID being the number following eid=)
Barry
MemberNo code snippet I’m afraid – it’s something we’re look at adding (the event date to PDF tickets) though – I only meant it’s possible that you could populate the SKU field with the event date, within the bounds imposed by WooCommerce at least.
To actually embed this in your PDFs will require some work.
Barry
MemberYes that’s possible. Just be aware of the fact that, currently, WooTickets does not support recurring events (so a ticket created for one event is shared across all instances).
Barry
MemberOK, there are quite a few oddities in there. The missing header is actually present, but various CSS rules are preventing it from displaying.
I also notice the venue link (to Rosemary Court, as seen here) is malformed and results in a 404.
Have you upgraded from an earlier version – if so, which version? And have you made any other customizations?
Barry
MemberHow puzzling. If possible, can you create a new test event and see if that displays as expected?
Barry
MemberHi Kris: there are some known issues with WooTickets 1.0 and WooCommerce 2.0 – so we’d recommend that you hold off from updating for the time being.
However, you’ll be pleased to note that we are aiming to release a fully compatible revision shortly.

MemberHi Robert,
I’m going to look into this; I have a feeling you may be experiencing a slightly different symptom of a problem we already know about (and hopefully have fixed in our development code) …
If you can bear with me a little longer I’ll get back to you when I’ve ascertained if it has indeed been fixed or if it is something that still needs more attention.
