ParticipantI’m using the Event Calendar Pro, but when I add a new event, it doesn’t show up in List View, Calendar View, or in my sidebar Calendar widget.
For example, I created an event, which can be seen here: http://drdeanine.com/event/integrative-pregnancy-massage/
But if you go to the events page, you’ll see that it doesn’t appear: http://drdeanine.com/events/2013-05/ (it should be visible on May 18th)
Also, note how the sidebar says “There are no upcoming events at this time.”I have the latest version of WordPress, Events Calendar, and Events Calendar Pro installed. I also have added my valid license key to ECP.
I’m experiencing a second issue, and I don’t know if it’s related. When you view the main events page http://drdeanine.com/events/ you’ll notice that the items that should be found in #tribe-events-calendar-header aren’t visible. This makes navigating the calendar impossible. I tried wrapping the calendar in a div on the Settings/Template page, but it hasn’t helped. Thoughts?
One other relevant point is that I’m also using the latest version of WooTickets with WooCommerce. But since events aren’t registering, ticketing hasn’t been very successful yet either.
I would appreciate any help for this. Thanks in advance!

MemberI note you tried deactivating other plugins/switching to a default theme … but, just to confirm, our basic troubleshooting steps in their entirety are:
- Please ensure that your Modern Tribe plugins are up-to-date and in-synch … for instance if you are using The Events Calendar 2.0.11 you must also use Events Calendar PRO 2.0.11
- Deactivate all other plugins and change your theme to a default, unmodified one such as Twenty Eleven or Twenty Twelve
- Now test to see if the problem still exists
- If the problem has been solved by these steps, start reactivating everything one-at-a-time, testing at each point to see if the issue has returned
- If the issue does return, take note of whichever plugin (or theme) you reactivated immediately before it started again – it’s likely there is a conflict with this item
And in your case of course you would need to keep WooTickets and WooCommerce active, too.
In any case, can you confirm that these are the same steps you ran through and if the behaviour of your site changed at all? If not, can you confirm if you have installed a caching plugin?

ParticipantHi Barry. Thanks for the reply.
Yes, I have already performed all of those steps and there was no change in the plugin performance. I am up to date on all plugins, including being in-synch with MT plugins. I deactivated all plugins and there was no change. I switched to Twenty Eleven and there was no change. I also tried turing all plugins off while keeping WooTickets and WooCommerce active. There has been no change after going through all of the basic troubleshooting. I have never installed any kind of caching plugin on the site at all. What’s the next step?

MemberHow puzzling. If possible, can you create a new test event and see if that displays as expected?

ParticipantI just created Test Event for 3/8: http://drdeanine.com/event/test-event/
You can see that it’s published. Notice how the sidebar says “no upcoming events”When you view the Events Calendar page: http://drdeanine.com/events/ the header continues to not display, but you can see that March is shown by the darkened current day of the month. Notice how there is no event for 3/8 and the sidebar also shows no events. I have also changed the settings to display the List View in place of the Grid View and there is no change, no events show.

MemberOK, there are quite a few oddities in there. The missing header is actually present, but various CSS rules are preventing it from displaying.
I also notice the venue link (to Rosemary Court, as seen here) is malformed and results in a 404.
Have you upgraded from an earlier version – if so, which version? And have you made any other customizations?

ParticipantI’m at a complete loss here… I just updated the venue settings, so that is resolved. TY.
Tickets still aren’t showing on the calendar though…
And I don’t know what just happened to my WooTickets, but that’s failing me now too. When I edit an event, the Tickets section won’t save my settings. For example, I had set up Test Event, with a Ticket Name and Ticket Description. But the settings won’t save (they revert to blank fields). I also input a price ($1), but it won’t save (it reverts to false). Then the Test Event page shows the ticket as free, but the WooCommerce Product page for my Ticket Event shows $1.
Nothing is working as advertised…

ParticipantTo answer your question, I didn’t upgrade from a previous version of ECP. I only installed 2.0.11 on 3/1. I previously had a version of EC, although I’m not sure what version as I had already updated it to the current version before installing ECP. I had originally installed EC around Nov/Dec 2012 and have updated as new versions came out.
No other customizations to the plugin and no custom CSS styling to the calendar or plugin. Everything is basically out of the box and up to date.

ParticipantI appreciate the help so far on this, but I’m running out of time on my end. I’ve been unable to have the plugins work as advertised since purchase. I have successfully used them on other sites, but can’t get an event to show on any version of the calendar, which is a big deal obviously. At this point, since the plugins aren’t working, I would be interested in a refund. What are the next steps to do so? Thank you.

MemberSorry to hear that Adam. If you do want to carry on working through this please just post back and let me know, otherwise if you could forward a copy of your PayPal purchase receipt to us (for the attention of my colleague Leah – [email protected]) and link back to this thread that would be great – Leah will take things from there.

ParticipantThanks Barry. I appreciate all of your help so far with this issue. My decision to switch gears is not a reflection of your efforts at all. I’m really just running up against a deadline and don’t have time for troubleshooting what should work out of the box. Thanks again for all your help.
