Awesome! Thanks a lot! We love seeing 100% on any translation! German is leading by example!

We are happy to hear that and appreciate the feedback!

On the ‘View as’ bug, the fix will be tested soon and if it passes, it will be released at the end of the month.

    Cheers,

    Szia Kornél,

Meanwhile I also reached to one of my colleagues on the ET / ET+ and WPML compatibility question. Here is what he replied:

In the meantime, you could get it to partially work, but this is unsupported.
To achieve that, you will need:
    1. WooCommerce multilingual
    2. Some manual intervention
After creating the ticket AND saving the event, head over to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting page.
Once you are there, you should see several cleanup buttons. I would recommend:
    1. Clearing WPML cache
    2. Using the button that forces language assignment to items (which is what is creating the issue). This can also be accomplished by deactivating and reactivating WPML.
Your ticket will now magically appear.

The only downside is that the tickets you create in other languages are not really translations of the initial ticket. They are completely independent new tickets. (And because of this they will likely not be in sync. – Andras)

Hope this helps a bit too.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hi gardeningknowhow,

I have discussed this with a developer and have opened an internal bugticket for this. We will try to look into this to get a solution out with our next maintenance release (end March-ish). I cannot guarantee it will be done by then but we see how this can cause issues and we will definitely handle it.

I am going to set the status of this ticket to “pending fix” and we will update it once the fix is released.

If you have any new questions or issues please create a new ticket and we’ll help you out.

    Thanks and cheers,
    Andras

    Hi Cory,

Thanks for reaching out! Let me try to help you with this one.

Although yes, we are officially not compatible with qTranslate, it might work.

Can you let me know which strings you are having issues with? We just recently discovered some that have the wrong textdomain, which will be fixed in the next maintenance release.

Let me know and I can try to help you further.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hi again,

That looks like a glitch on our end. The strings have the wrong text-domain assigned to them.

I’ll get those fixed for the next release. Sorry about this.

(If you want to do a quick fix for yourself, because you need it, then open wp-content/plugins/event-tickets-plus/src/admin-views/editor/fieldset/settings-capacity.php and change all the ‘event-tickets’ textdomains to ‘event-tickets-plus’.)

    Cheers,
    Andras

Hey, just got word from the WP team that the string set has been updated.

I still see some discrepancy (I see too many strings), will try to sort that out with them, but I believe you should be good to go.

    Grüss Dich,

I just checked this and it’s weird. The .pot file in the zip package does contain the new strings.

And actually the new pot file has only 511 strings, while on the translate site I see 884 for German (and for Hungarian as well). It looks to me that translate.WordPress.org did not update the strings yet.

I just pinged the polyglots of WordPress to check this. Will get back to you as soon as I have something.

    Grüsse,
    Andras

    Hi Tim,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Can you share with me the url of the website where you are having the issue?

I just took a look at this on my test site and it works like this for me:

    • on a desktop in month view I see full day names, like “Monday”
    • on a desktop in responsive / mobile mode I see abbreviated day names like “Mon”
    • on a mobile mode I see abbreviated day names like “Mon”

Let me know how I can help further.
