KeymasterHey Ross,
Thanks for your report! I just tested this and could recreate the issue, so it looks like we have a but.
Though I cannot promise we will be able to fix this in the very next update as the development of that finishes today and we are moving into testing, I will give this a higher priority so we can tackle this soon after.
Until the fix ships instead of “yearly” recurrence you could use “once”. That will cover you for this year. Then you can change it back once the fix is done.

KeymasterHi Indiescott,
Thanks for getting in touch with us! I’m sorry about this issue with the shortcode and the paging.
We had this bug before which has been fixed, but apparently something more needs to be done. I just received another bug report on this with Salient.
Will try to take a look at this and get a fix out. For the moment I cannot give you any dates when this is going to happen. Hang in there.
Cheers,
AndrasAndras
KeymasterHi Anastasia,
Allright, let’s see.
As a first, you will not need the The Events Calendar: WooCommerce Tickets plugin. That plugin is not being supported any more and its functionality of that has been fully taken over by Event Tickets Plus.
Do you get the same result if you switch to a default theme like twentyseventeen?
If all works well with twentyseventeen then switch back and check the settings under Events > Settings > Display tab (screenshot)
Try ‘Tribe Event Styles’ and ‘Default Events Template’.
Let me know how it works out.
Cheers,
AndrasAndras
KeymasterSure thing.

KeymasterHi Cory,
We are unfortunately unable to provide support through our Pre-Sales forum channel, but you can head over to The Events Calendar WordPress.org support forums for assistance and answers.
Also please note that at the moment we do not officially support qTranslate. You can try posting / searching for solutions in their forums as well.
If you have a PRO license, you can log into your account and get assistance through the PRO forums.
Thanks for understanding!

KeymasterHi Jeff,
That is an awesome trade, wow!
Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me try to help you with your questions.
can they have achoice of paying in installments
Our plugins don’t support paying in installments, sorry.
Ideally I would also like to block out certain holiday weeks of the year and have their lessons automatically planned in around these weeks in my calendar.
How do you imagine this? Could you give me more details?
Each evening/ class has a max. number of students.
With our free Event Tickets plugin you can collect registrations / RSVPs for each event. It is possible to set up that users have to log in to your site before registering. Users who registered also have the option to submit whether they are attending or not attending, and they can change this later on. Note, this is kinda like a free ticket, so you will not be able to sell tickets with this plugin.
Each class has different students and they pay in advance for 12, 20 or 35 lessons
Our Event Tickets Plus plugin will allow you to sell tickets to events. It is difficult / cumbersome however if students pay in bulk.
What I could imagine as a process is the following:
- Student buys a ‘gift card’ / coupon code for the amount of 12, 20 or 35 lessons
- Whenever they decide on a lesson / day, they purchase a ticket for that day and use their gift card / coupon to pay for it
Theoretically this would work. It would require WooCommerce and a plugin like this for the gift card part:
Note: I’m not sure if the free version is enough or you would need the pro version of it.
And it would require our Event Tickets Plus plugin for selling the tickets.
I hope this helps. So, our plugins might not be the best choice out of the box, but it could be achieved what you want.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

KeymasterHi! After reviewing your request this essentially looks like a custom development task and so is outside of our stated scope of support.
With that being said, we’d love to help point you in the right direction.
I’d recommend starting off by taking a look at our Themer’s Guide, which can show you which templates can be edited and copied in order to attempt the results that you are looking for.
If you’d prefer not to tackle this customization on your own, we may be able to assist you further. We do need to prioritize support requests from other customers at this time but I’ll certainly flag this with the team and – although we can’t make any promises – if we have time and space to come back and help, we’ll be happy to do so. Please let us know if you’d like to go this route so that you can be added to this queue.
In the meantime, if there is any more information you can share (including mocks) that will help us to better understand what you are seeking please do feel free to add them to this ticket.
If you urgently need help with this, however, you may instead wish to consider working with a suitably skilled developer or designer who can offer the additional level of support you require.
Thanks and cheers,
AndrasAndras
KeymasterHi Anastasian,
You came to the right place, thanks for reaching out!
I just checked the URL you shared and I could see a list of events. Did you manage to fix the issue meanwhile or do you still need help with it?
Thanks and cheers,

KeymasterHi David,
Thanks for getting in touch!
Sorry to hear you are having troubles with the import. I can help you with this one.
The importer cannot recognize the date format that is in the CSV file, as the CSV file doesn’t contain that information, it contains only numbers.
Here’s a section from our knowledgebase that explains how you can work with this:
It’s important to remember that some date formats can be rather ambiguous! For example, 05/06/2016 could be interpreted either as May 6th or as 5th June. It’s important to note that the former style, more common in North America, is assumed by the importer. If you prefer to use the alternative format, with the day first and month second, you can do so—but please use hyphens instead of slashes, i.e. 05-06-2016.
And here’s the full article and one more to give you a full picture:

Let me know if this helps.

KeymasterHey Nick,
Thanks for reaching out!
Happy to hear it works. 🙂 Is there anything else related to this topic that I can help with, before we close this thread?

KeymasterHi Dylan,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m really sorry about this issue hitting you.
We have identified this not long ago and a fix is already on the way. If all goes well the fix will be published by the end of the month.
Until then the workaround I can provide is downgrading to earlier versions of the plugins: ET 4.6.3.1 and ET+ 4.6.2
I am going to set the status of this ticket to “pending fix” and we will update it once the fix is released.
If you have any new questions or issues please create a new ticket and we’ll help you out.
Thanks and cheers,

KeymasterHello Ray,
Thanks for all the awesome questions posted and for using our plugins already!
Let me try to give you some answers to your outstanding questions.
For example, it looks as if there’s a way to get a “site fee,” but only if you use the Community Tickets function. I want to be paid for setting it all up, but I don’t want “Community Tickets.”
At the moment, with our plugins the only way to get paid by 3-rd parties is through Community Tickets and Split Payments by PayPal, however that has been deprecated. If you already have that as an earlier user, then you can still use it. (More info here: https://theeventscalendar.com/known-issues/)
If you want to receive regular payments from the organizers, you could try a plugin like WooCommerce Subscriptions.
Is there any function that will allow the event coordinators / originators (the ones putting the event on) to obtain registration information for THEIR event only? If I provide them with a wordpress login, can it be specifically for THEIR event?
This can be done with our Community Events plugin. Other than that it would require some custom solution and / or custom coding.
While I can add a shopping cart, is there another plug-in which would allow the customer to register, add all the extras, and check out *one* time?
You can use WooCommerce as your eCommerce plugin to sell tickets. And with that you can set up other products as well.
If you want to offer tickets in a way like
- single ticket
- single ticket with baseball cap
- single ticket with jersey
- single ticket with cap and jersey
then probably this article will be of use to you:
I hope these answer your questions. Let me know if you have more!

KeymasterHi Allison,
To get you further with this, we have changed how ticket stocks are handled in the background, likely that is the cause why your current customization is not working.
In this file you will be able to check what arguments can be passed when creating a ticket.
wp-content/plugins/event-tickets/src/Tribe/Ticket_Object.php
My hunch is you are missing some stock related lines. You can try adding:
$ticket->stock=5;and see if that helps you move along.
Also note that instead of global stock now we are using global capacity. So if you have tickets using that you will likely need to add a couple more lines.
Let us know how far you get.

AndrasAndras
KeymasterHi Cory,
As a first step please make sure that you are using the latest versions of our plugins.
Then check if the .po files are fully up-to-date.
If you are using PoEdit, then open your .po file, go to Catalog > Update from POT file… look for the .pot file in the languages folder of the plugin and run an update.
Let me know if that works out. If not, then I can try to help you further.
Cheers,
AndrasAndras
