KeymasterThanks for that Randy, much appreciated!
It looks like the new hook will be released this week in the maintenance release, if all goes according to plan.
You’ll receive an update here when that happens.

KeymasterHi Agnes,
Thanks for clarifying that.
I am not familiar and don’t have access to the theme you are using. Likely your parent theme has implemented events as a custom post type. In this sense it is basically the same as if it was a plugin.
The conclusion is the same, migrating the events to TEC is not a straightforward and / or easy process.
Unfortunately our team cannot take on small scale custom work.
Nonetheless I can share with you this list of independent developers who are well known in the community and are not affiliated with us. They should be able to help you with your migration.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any further questions.

KeymasterHi gtc888,
Thanks for your feedback.
Although we are not able to accommodate your need at this moment I would be very happy to hear the details on how you imagine the above purchasing process, step-by-step.
This would give us a picture of your needs / of a purchasing scenario which we might take into account in future developments.
Apart from that, if you don’t have any further questions, then I would like to close this topic.

KeymasterThanks for clarifying that. 🙂

KeymasterHello Agnes,
Thanks for going Pro and welcome to the forums!
I’m going to try to help you out with this one.
The way I understand it, you were using a different plugin to manage events before?
Unfortunately migrating events from one plugin to another is not as easy as changing the custom post slug, as you have seen. It a lot of cases migration is not possible, and you will need to re-enter the events manually as different plugins use different data structures, different ways of storing the data.
If you were using an older version of The Events Calendar, then there might be a way. In this case you will need to restore your site to a state where your events are still showing, and then do a gradual upgrade of the plugins.
I hope this clarifies a bit. Let me know how I can help you further.

KeymasterHi Ron,
I will let Jennifer take point on this and will consult with her.
She will follow up with you in the other thread so we don’t do superfluous extra rounds here and there.

KeymasterAbove you said:
“but we have not yet canceled nor refunded any tickets.”
And then you said:
“we have not canceled any ticket but refunded about ten tickets for the shown event”
I’m getting a bit confused here. 🙂
Can you send me a full database dump in a private reply?
Also please send me details for one event you are having issues with. I’d be interested in:
- how many tickets were purchased
- how many were refunded / cancelled
- were the orders for those deleted
- how many tickets are showing up as available
- how many should show up as available
- and any other detail you think would be important
Thanks,
Andras

KeymasterHi gtc888,
Thanks for the detailed description and the screenshots. That is really helpful in understanding your current process.
What is possible at the moment is add more tickets and members of the same ticket to the basket at once. So you go to an event, select the number of tickets you need. Then fields will show up which you can fill out with the attendee details. Put that in your cart.
Then you need to go to the other event you want, select the number of tickets, add attendee info, add to cart.
Go to third event…
You can check that functionality here, go for the VIP ticket: https://wpshindig.com/event/event-tickets-plus-demo/
Out of the box this cannot be done any different way.
Of course with some customization this possibly can be improved or changed.
Eventually you will need to match different people and different number of people to different events and / or tickets. That will require some back-and-forth in most cases.
Does this help?

KeymasterHi Trent,
Thanks for reaching out to us and considering out plugins.
The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO do not have a dedicated “export events” or “push events” feature.
However, an iCal feed url is available and you could possibly use that as a source for the import.
You can check the iCal feed functionality here: http://wpshindig.com/
You will find a blue ‘Export Events’ button below the calendar grid. On that sample page it will give you a feed of that month.
The button / url will always match the screen / events you are looking at, so if you are looking at events from a certain category, then the button / url will give you a feed for those events.
Does this answer your question?

KeymasterHallo vendojo,
Thanks for reaching out!
There is a known glitch with Divi with the number of posts that should be displayed per page. There is a setting for that under Divi > Settings and one under Events > Settings > General tab.
We have a free extension to fix this here:
Please give this one a try and let me know if that fixes it.

KeymasterHi Randy,
Thanks for your vote on UserVoice! Much appreciated!
During a discussion with a dev we touched on the event deletion topic and I gathered some extra info for you. Food for thought.
“Each event from the Google calendar includes a UID that uniquely represents the event from Google.” — While this is true for single events, that is not the case for recurring events.
“After an import is complete, any of the imported category’s existing events whose UID was not found in the most recent import could be removed.” — I touched on this from a different angle before; What should happen with all past events? Would be deleted?
These are questions / scenarios which make the implementation of full sync difficult.
And now to the question at hand:
I have been unable to find a hook that provides a suitable hook to delete the imported category’s events prior to the import’s execution.
Bad news: currently a hook like that does not exists.
Good news: A fix for this was suggested and if all goes well it will be included in the next maintenance release, which is scheduled for release in about a week. If you ping me after the MR ships I can check for you and let you know the details.
Cheers,
