KeymasterHi,
I just did the same, fired up a test site with Local by Flywheel, php 7.1.7 and whatever was default, with Ffox 61.0.2.
Installed TEC and PRO and I’m not getting the error you are getting. Not on the home page, not on the calendar page.
Hmmm… interesting.
If I understand correctly you don’t have any other plugins active and there is no caching. Do you get the same with a different browser?
What’s your local environment? Server type, php version and the rest?

KeymasterHi Leslie,
I checked your site and it looks like you are having this issue with more events.
First, please make sure that all your calendar plugins are up to date.
If you are using a caching plugin, then clear its cache or even disable it for the duration of testing.
Try re-saving your permalink setting under Settings > Permalinks.
The event you set up is: one event lasting from October 12 to November 3, and you set up that 23-day long event to repeat every week. If it is only a 1-hour-long event, then start and end date should be October 12.
To be able to better assist you further, please share your system information with me.
Please also note, if you do not have the most recent versions of the plugins and you don’t have an active license for Events Calendar Pro (or any of our premium plugins) I will not be able to give you support, as we only support the most recent versions of our plugins, and users who have an active license / subscription.
Thanks and cheers,

KeymasterHi yohmangmail,
Thanks for reaching out!
In the Filter Bar there is no option for text search, but there is one in the “Tribe Bar” which appears by default above the calendar. https://cloudup.com/cW_-4ipbNt8
The Tribe Bar and the Filter Bar plugin work well together so you should be able to do your keyword search in the tribe bar while you filter for categories.
Let me know if that works for you.

AndrásAugust 31, 2018 at 8:22 am in reply to: Eventbrite ticket sales not updating event ticket stock #1610673Andras
KeymasterHi Simon,
I thank you for your patience! I have managed to run some tests to find out what is happening between Eventbrite and the WordPress site.
The event ticket pro stock is not updating when tickets are sold through the Eventbrite extension.
There are 2 angles to this one.
First, the front-end of the WordPress site, where you can sell the tickets. Here the tickets are in an iFrame. The contents are pulled directly from Eventbrite, so should always have up to date information. If all the tickets are sold on the Eventbrite side, if you load the page afterward, you should see a sold out message like this one: https://cloudup.com/c3HdLVSoNDy
I wasn’t able to replicate the extra purchase you have described. Could you share with me the exact steps you did to achieve the over-sales?
Second, the back-end, like the screenshot you shared. When you sync / import the event from Eventbrite, the numbers get imported as well. However they do not get updated automatically on the back-end when you make a purchase. You will need to re-import (update) the event again which will then refresh the numbers.
How you can address this is via setting up a daily or hourly scheduled import for the event, then the sold tickets number on the wp back-end will get updated ever so often.
And we have a bug on the back-end. The number under ‘Available’ shows the initial stock of the event and not the remaining quantity. This issue is already ticketed and our developers will take a look at it. I will add your voice to the ticket and we will notify you once that has been fixed.

KeymasterHello Zach,
Thanks for reaching out!
I have tried to recreate this on my end, but haven’t succeeded yet.
On my test site I put an ‘Events Calendar’ widget in the sidebar widget area. Then went to the front-end, switched to responsive view and a small screensize but the javascript error message did not appear and all kept working as it should.
I’m on latest TEC 4.6.22.1 and PRO 4.4.31
Are you doing anything differently?
To rule out any conflicts it would also be great if you could go through our conflict testing guide and see if that brings anything to the surface.
Cheers,

KeymasterHi Leslie,
Thanks for getting back to me.
Before we dive any deeper I need to point out that we are unfortunately unable to provide support through our Pre-Sales forum channel.
Also, looking at your account I do not see any active licenses to any of our premium plugins.
If you have a PRO license – maybe with another account -, then best would be if you could log into your account and open a topic. There you can include a link to this topic to have some background information.
Also, to move forward in the meantime:
My problem is the scheduling multiple events. When I use that function …
Can you share more details on how you are doing this “scheduling multiple events”? I’m sorry if it seems like I’m asking too many questions. I just want to make sure I fully understand what you are doing, what result you expect and what result you get instead, so that we are on the same page.
If you could share some annotated screenshots or a screen recording on what steps you are taking, that would help even more. Thanks!
Now Facebook has stopped the import function but you still have kept your plugin at the same price when its best function is now useless.
We are also shocked and sad that Facebook has introduced limitations.
I understand your question, I will forward it to the appropriate people.
As a sidenote, in the beginning import from Other URL / Other TEC site was not available. Once we added that functionality we kept the price at the same level.

KeymasterHello Benneth,
Thank you for doing that, much appreciated!
Weird issues like this peak my curiosity. I would love to investigate this deeper to find out what causes this. Unfortunately I cannot do that on your website, since we do not want to disturb the traffic.
We have 2 options to move forward:
Option 1:
Would you be able to make a copy of your website and set it up as a staging site, where I could play around to find the source of the issue?
Option 2:
Create a full database export and zip up your wp-contents folder and share both of them with me. This way I can replicate your site on my machine and I can investigate the issue.
One of these plugins can help you create these:
- https://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/
- https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-clone-by-wp-academy/
The files will probably be too big to upload here. You can upload them to a cloud service and share the url here in a private reply.
Looking forward to finding the source of the issue.
Cheers,

KeymasterHi Rémi,
You could probably hook into this action do make it to whatever you want after checkin:
Found this one that may help:
https://github.com/moderntribe/event-tickets/blob/master/src/Tribe/Tickets.php#L729
do_action( 'event_tickets_checkin', $attendee_id, $qr );Does that help?

August 30, 2018 at 1:36 pm in reply to: problem when editing existing product, only with the products that have Tickets? #1610110Andras
KeymasterHi thlink,
Thanks for using our plugins and welcome to the help desk!
Sorry to hear about your issue.
To be able to better help you I would like to ask for some further information from you.
Please, share your system information with me.
What eCommerce solution are you using to sell tickets? The built-in Tribe Commerce, WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads?
when I edit a product that has tickets
Do I understand correctly that you are adding tickets to products, and not to events?
Thanks and looking forward to helping you out.
Cheers,
AndrasAndras
KeymasterHey John,
Thanks for getting in touch!
In Event Tickets and Events Tickets Plus there is no specific option like that.
One alternative solution / workaround could be to add this information into the ticket description field.
As an example, on our demo page “Basic ticket example” is the ticket description.
Or another possibility: with Events Calendar PRO you can set up so called Additional Fields for the events. The field title is the same for all events, the content can vary.
On the same demo page, below the tickets box you see information in 3 columns: Details, Organizer, Other.
The content in the Other column comes from Additional Fields.
Let me know if this helps or if you have any additional questions.
Cheers,
AndrasAndras
KeymasterHello Leslie,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
I’m sorry to hear about your disappointment.
it is now necessary […] to have all the plugins.
It is definitely not necessary to have all our plugins, unless you need the functionality of all of them. Otherwise you only need the plugin whose functionality you want on your website.
it is now necessary to keep up to date
This decision is in your hands. You do not have to keep the plugins up to date, you can stick with an old version. In this case it is needed that you stay on the old version for all the plugins.
This can have the consequence that you might be stuck with some bugs. If you would like to get rid of those bugs, you will need to update the plugin.
it should be downward compatible
As much as we would like our plugins be downward compatible, it is impossible to achieve that.
Our plugins are very complex with a lot of inter-dependencies, inter-dependent functionality. There are cases for example where fixing a bug in The Events Calendar will also have an effect on Events Calendar PRO and Event Tickets because they have functionality that is dependent on TEC. Thus, all of them need to be updated, whether we want it or not.
With that being said, if you have the recent versions of our plugins and you are experiencing an issue, I would be happy to help you out.
I see that you were / are using many of our plugins. We do offer product bundles with discounts as well.
If none of the bundles fit your needs, then tell me what you need and I’ll check what I can do for you.
Cheers,
AndrasAndras
KeymasterÖrülök, hogy sikerült megoldást találni.
Mindenesetre megpróbálok beszélni egy fejlesztővel, hogy mi lehet.
Kis türelmet kérek.

KeymasterHi Simon,
I do have to apologize. I misunderstood your issue initially, I’m really sorry about this.
Now re-reading your messages made it clear what your issue is. That’s my bad.
Please give me some time to do some investigation in this and I will get back to you still this week.
Thanks and cheers,
