Thanks for confirming it, Emily! Much appreciated.

If all goes well, then the fix is going to be developed and released around the end of September.

I am going to set the status of this ticket to “pending fix” and we will update it once the fix is released.

If you have any new questions or issues please create a new ticket and we’ll help you out.

    Thanks and cheers,
    Andras

    Hi Daniel,

I checked that other thread. There the hosting provider increased the allowed memory to 2GB rightly saying “way above what it should be I think”. So much memory shouldn’t be needed, I agree.

Afterward the issue disappeared and the other user couldn’t reproduce it any more.

This could be one reason / solution.

On the other hand I see that you are using the ‘once’ rule for the recurrence rules. Are you having issues with events that use the ‘once’ (Einmal) rule, or also with recurring events that use different rules?

(We are aware of an issue with the ‘once’ rule, where the events are not being created. A fix is coming soon for this.)

    Cheers,
    Andras

What styles? On pages, posts, products, events?

Can you share a before / after screenshot?

    Hi Benneth,

As much as I would love to provide you a code at the moment I’m not able to. To be able to do that we would need to find the source of the issue.

I took a look at your plugin list and your Events Calendar PRO plugin is still outdated and active.

Please either update the plugin to the latest version or deactivate it, so that we can rule out a conflict coming from this old version.

    Thanks,
    Andras

    Welcome Jasmin,

    Thanks for getting in touch!

While there were a lot of improvements in the latest updates of WPML and our plugins, as Geoff said before “there are still a few things that are not quite to our liking yet, including how recurring events URLs are handled (we will iron those out shortly).”

All in all, we are aware of this issue and hopefully our irons can be heated up soon to iron out these wrinkles.

Until then I will need to ask for your patience.

    Thanks and cheers,
    Andras

    1. Írhatóvá kell tenni a home/dev/tmp könyvtárat

    2. Ki kell kapcsolni a hibanaplózást

Remélem ez segít! Írj, ha még szükséged van segítségre.

    Üdv,
    András

    Hi Emily,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I’m really sorry to hear about these issues you are experiencing with Eventbrite.

To summarize, I understand you are reporting two issues here:

    • featured images disappear on update / they don’t get imported from Eventbrite
    • formatting from the event description disappears (incl. images, links, etc.) when an event gets updated / imported from Eventbrite

Can you confirm these are the issues?

We are aware both of these. They are ticketed and our developers will soon be taking a look at them. I need to ask for your patience.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hi noweakparties,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Sorry to hear about this issue with the loading time.

In your system information I see that you are using a very old version of Events Calendar PRO. You have 4.4.19 and we are at 4.4.31.

As a first I would like to ask you to update the plugin to the lastest version and see if that solves the issue.

The other option would be deactivating Events Calendar PRO and checking like that.

If that still doesn’t help, then please go through our conflict testing guide and see if that brings anything to the surface.

    Thanks and cheers,
    Andras

    Hi,

Thanks for updating and checking. Sorry to hear that did not help.

I was trying to check your site but it was down.

Meanwhile I’m trying to run some tests on my end could you send me a screenshot of how that widget is set up in the back-end?

Did you manage to test what happens if you switch to a default theme like twentyseventeen ?

    Thanks,
    Andras

    Okay, I understand.

In that case I would do the following after a db backup:

On the old site create an export of your database. To make a full transfer you will likely need all tables, except for wp_options.

Careful with wp_users and wp_usermeta so that you don’t lock yourself out from the new site.

On the new site, delete (or rename) these tables. (All, except wp_options, and wp_users if you want.)

Import these table to the new site.

Best would be working directly in your database (phpMyAdmin or similar). Using a plugin to do this might alter the IDs of the different entries resulting in tickets not being connected to the events.

This is about as much as I can think of. The other would be migrating the design. Not sure what changes you made… for me copying the parent and child theme over and exporting / importing theme settings (if there are any) seems easier than the above with the database. But again, I don’t know what changes you made.

Let me know how you end up. If needed I can try to help you further, though I’m running out of ideas. 🙂

    Cheers,
    Andras
