A text search option for the filter bar?

We just purchased the filter bar, and would like to implement it on a site we are building at UCLA. I am wondering (hoping) whether the filter bar has a way to also do a keyword search. It seems to be an obvious additional “filter” that would not be too difficult to implement. E.G.: search for events that have the keyword “UCLA” and is categorized under “athletics”.

In case this option does not exist, might there be plans to add this in the near future? Or might there be a recommended way to implement this via code?

Thanks for reaching out!

In the Filter Bar there is no option for text search, but there is one in the “Tribe Bar” which appears by default above the calendar. https://cloudup.com/cW_-4ipbNt8

The Tribe Bar and the Filter Bar plugin work well together so you should be able to do your keyword search in the tribe bar while you filter for categories.
