    Hello Steve,

    Thanks for using our plugins and welcome to the forums!

    I’m sorry to hear about these duplication issues when importing with Event Aggregator. Let me try to help you with this.

    If you could share the following with me, that would help in my investigation:

    • The url / feed you are importing
    • A screenshot of how the scheduled import of that feed is set up
    • A screenshot of the setting of “Event Update Authority” and “Global Import Settings” under Events > Settings > Import tab

    I see you are a fairly new user. Did this happen from the very beginning, or did it start after an update?

    Thanks,
    Andras

    Got some news already.

    I talked to the developer on this case. Yes, it was fixed before and then somehow it crept back in.

    But the coding is done and should be released worst case in about 2 weeks. In a better scenario it will be released this week, but that is not up to me at this point. I’ll try to give it some push to get it out as soon as possible.

    Thanks for your continued patience!

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hey Justin,

    Not sure that would have an impact, but I will try to get an extra set of eyes to take a look at this. Hang in there, we’ll get back to you soon.

    Thanks and cheers,

    Hi Martin,

    So far we haven’t seen any requests for this kind of a scenario, this is likely the reason for the lack of a shortcode for this.

    If you think that is something you would like as a feature I encourage you to visit our User Voice Page and either upvote an existing request or make a new request there.

    Let me know if there’s anything else.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hi Jan,

    Happy to hear that helped.

    For the front-end we have a setting under Events > Settings > General tab (screenshot).

    That will not show the recurrences on list view based pages, but likely does not influence the “Related events” part.

    I will check this latter with the team, if there is something to be done about it. I’ll get back to you on that as soon as I have something.

    Cheers,

    Hi Dave,

    No worries and I’m really sorry if our plugins caused you frustration, though I hope it was rather something else. (And sometimes a little venting does help in getting a clearer head. ;o) )

    I just want you to know that our ears are open, we are here for you, so if you have any issues, bugs or simply questions with our plugins, then pop it here in the premium forums, and our team will do the best to help you solve it.

    Event Tickets Plus will NOT support tickets for recurring events

    Yes, that is still the case at the moment. If I know correctly, then some mad inventors are trying to cook up something in our secret labs to make that possible, but I have no information of their progress. I know that they only get dry bread and water until they solve this. πŸ™‚

    I did some testing on the side to see what is actually happening. This is what I did and found.

    • I set up a recurring event, 4 Sundays in October
    • I set up an RSVP with a stock of 10
    • I set up a ticket with a stock of 20
    • I did an RSVP on October 1st
    • Then another one on October 8 (I think)
    • Then I purchased a ticket on the page of October 8
    • I did a double RSVP on October 8 – because I didn’t remember if I did the first Oct8 on that date or not πŸ™‚

    What happened is that:

    • the stock properly decreased for both the RSVP and the ticket, regardless of whether I did it on the Oct 1 or the Oct 8 instance of the event
    • The attendee report on the back-end shows all purchases / RSVPs on one page, so for the whole series (screenshot)
    • On the page of the first event in the series (Oct 1) I can see the message “You have 4 RSVPs and 1 Ticket for this Event. View your RSVPs and Tickets” (screenshot), which is proper
    • If I then click on “View your RSVPs and Tickets”, then all is properly listed (screenshot)

    However:

    • when I check at any of the other instances of the event (e.x. October 8) in the front-end, then I don’t see the above messages

    Is this the functionality that you are looking for? What else would you need?

    I’m sorry if I seem slow in understanding, I would just like to get a better picture on what is missing here.

    By the way we do like to support non-profit organizations. This article will give you more details on that.

    Cheers,

    Hello Janneke,

    Thanks for re-submitting your post with screenshots. Much appreciated!

    When tickets were cancelled I guess they were cancelled on the WooCommerce product page, so the order itself was cancelled.

    How WooCommerce handles this in general (so with WooCommerce products as well, not only Ticket products) is, when you change the status of an order then it doesn’t adjust the stock of the products in that basket. You need to adjust the stock manually. You can to this simply by clicking on the product in the basket, then choosing the “decrease stock” or “increase stock” button based on your needs. Here’s a screenshot of that.

    Once you click those your stock will be adjusted. Note however that the total number of sales will not change because of that. So if you sold 4 tickets, then 2 were cancelled (and re-stocked), then your total number of sold tickets will still be 4. This is again something that is handled by WooCommerce, and not by our plugins. This is the same with deleted / trashed tickets.

    As for the total stock number, it is difficult to say why it shows what it does at the moment. The easiest way to correct that is to simply change the number to your actual stock at the moment.

    We’ve heard about the issues when stock wasn’t reduced after a sale, but that was / is most of the time in the hands of WooCommerce and PayPal gateway. There are some issues there, which these two parties need to look at, we cannot really do anything about those. I see you are using a different gateway and hopefully that works as expected. I just wanted to point out that there are multiple parties at play here.

    I hope the above clarifies the situation. If you have further questions, then please let me know, I’m happy to answer them for you.

    Cheers,
    Andras

    Hallo Brigitte und wilkommen in unserem Forum!

    I will keep this in English so others also understand.

    That is not a common request, but I might be able to help you with it.

    I found an article talking about the same setup and provides a solution. You can find it here.

    Basically this is what you need:

    1. Create the subdomain – this is done if I’m right
    2. redirect the subdomain to the pfefferfrau.eu/events url
    3. Copy this line into your .htaccess file
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^(www.)?events.pfefferfrau.eu$
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/events
    RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /events/$1 [L]

    Please note that I haven’t tested this, so I cannot guarantee that it will work, but it should give you a start.

    Let me know if this helps and if you have any more questions.

    Viel GlΓΌck!

    Hi Charlotte,

    Thanks for reaching out and sorry about this issue you are having.

    We have released a fix for this bug and should be resolved if you update The Events Calendar to the most recent 4.5.13 version. You should be able to do that without any license key.

    As for the license key issue with Events Calendar Pro, I believe you will need to move your license key; this article should help you with that.

    You will be able to set your replies private as of now. The opening post of a thread cannot be made private, but the follow-ups already can.

    Let me know if you need any further help or if you have more questions.

    Hello Manuel,

    Thanks for reaching out and pinging us about this. The issue is waiting for a developer to be assigned to.

    Meanwhile the fix arrives to this you can try the workaround recommended in the thread you referred to:

    A temporary solution I am using is to use the ACF date-timepicker (rather than just the timepicker), but ideally the plain timepicker could coexist with the Events Calendar.

    Thanks for your patience!

    Hey Bruce, I got the feedback I was waiting for.

    The release where this is going to be addressed is planned for October. Hang in there, we’re almost there.

    I am going to set the status of this ticket to “pending fix” and we will update it once it is released. If you have any new questions or issues please create a new ticket and we’ll be happy to help you out.

    in reply to: Google Calendar ICS Scheduled Imports Hung on "Import Pending" #1353633

    I just set up a scheduled import with the url you shared and the latest versions of our plugins. So far the import ran automatically 5 times and without any issues.

    What you can try is:

    • make sure that all the calendar plugins are up-to-date
    • delete the scheduled import itself
    • delete the events that were imported (also from the ignored list)
    • set up the scheduled import again and check what happens

    At first you can try skipping step 3 / deleting the events. If that doesn’t help, then redo with step 3 included.

    This is how I would start.

    Hey Martin,

    Happy to hear you succeeded with the first part! Awesome!

    As for the shortcode, no there is nothing like that. If you enable tickets for a post and you use the default way to present posts, then the ticket form should automatically show up on the page of the blog post.

    Showing it differently, which requires custom coding, is beyond the scope of the support we can provide. I can help you get started but you will need to do the heavy lifting. Thanks for your understanding.

    A colleague was kind enough to whip this together to get started.

    “If for some reason he’s enabled support for this custom post type and the ticket form still isn’t appearing (if that’s the situation, not 100% sure I’m understanding) then he could create a new function to use as a template tag, along these lines:

    function print_ticket_forms() {
    foreach ( Tribe__Tickets__Tickets::modules() as $provider_class => $provider_name ) {
    /**
    * @var Tribe__Tickets__Tickets $provider
    */
    $provider = call_user_func( array( $provider_class, 'get_instance' ) );

    if ( $provider ) {
    $provider->front_end_tickets_form( '' );
    }
    }
    }

    … then he could add that (or trigger via an action, depending on what’s easiest with his theme) at the appropriate point and it should output the appropriate ticket forms.”

    If you need further help in customizing, then you can turn to one of the freelancers in this list. They are well known in our community and are not affiliated with us.
