MemberHi Nicolas!
Thanks for following up.
I’ve just checked the report and it seems we’re aiming for a fix to be shipped in our next maintenance release cycle in about three weeks from now.
Bear in mind the fix is still in an early stage of development so we can’t really commit to a date. If we happen to find a workaround in the meantime, we will keep you posted about it. But for the moment, it seems the only workaround is to keep the number of “Once” instances up to 20.
Best,
VictorVictor

MemberHi Peter!
Thanks for following up with this.
I’m glad you could eliminate the conflict. Just to confirm, is the snippet not working for you at all, even if you place it once in your theme’s functions.php file?
Please let me know.
Thanks,

MemberHi Frederick! Thanks for chiming in!
Indeed, this bug has been fixed in our latest maintenance release of our plugins. To learn more about it >Â https://theeventscalendar.com/maintenance-release-for-the-week-of-22-january-2018/
Please update the plugins and see if it works for you.
The “Fix Venues” button only shows up for venues that don’t have certain fields created in the database. This is the case when activating Events Calendar PRO after already having created venues with The Events Calendar only.
If you need a venue to fetch the Lat and Long coordinatest, then you will need to edit the venue and save it.
We are trying to come up with a snippet that works similar as the “Fix Venues” button and accomplish this in one hit. We will let you know in this thread of the snippet once we finish it.
Thanks,

MemberHi Nicolas!
Thanks for confirming that.
Unfortunately, this is an issue we are already aware of when setting up many “Once” instances for a recurring event, which causes the load of many select2 fields in the browser and makes it easily to conflict with the browsers built-in throttling.
I will set this tread as “Pending fix” and link it to the bug report so we can let you know once we ship a fix in one of our next maintenance releases of our plugins.
We can’t commit to a date for a fix, but I can already tell it is of high priority and a developer is already working on it.
We apologise for the inconvenience and we appreciate your patience while we work on this.

MemberHi Cristian!
Glad to know the shortcode helped!
Unfortunately, there is no shortcode attribute to remove the horizontal line or the “View more…” elements from it. However, you can customize the widget templates by using one of the methods described in our Themer’s Guide >Â https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/.
Also are there different themes for the list view? Can I display two upcoming items (limit=2) and have them display side by side?
This is only achievable by customizing our template like I mentioned above.
Let me know if you have other questions.
Hi @bhchilds! Thanks for chiming in here 🙂
You can create and manage event categories by navigating to Events > Event Categories in your wp-admin. Event categories will show up to be assigned to events upon creation. Does it help?
If you have any further questions, please open a new topic for it. This will help us keep things more organized and make sure we give the proper attention to each user.
Thanks!

MemberHi Christopher!
Thanks for coming back with the gCal link.
I run a few imports with it, but I was able to update the description for the event in the screenshot.
Could you please try editing that event in your site, then edit the description (you can make a small change like one character or word) and save. After that, try running the import to see if the description gets overwritten by the one from gCal.
Please let me know how that goes.
Thanks,
VictorVictor
MemberHi Josep!
Thanks for coming back with the code.
I have now realized that you need two separate feeds for your posts and events. Events have their own feed by navigating to a URL likeÂ
yoursite.com/feed/?post_type=tribe_eventsorÂyoursite.com/events/feed/And for your site’s regular posts you can access them at
yoursite.com/feedWill that work for what you are trying to achieve? Let me know.
Thanks,

MemberHi Raymond!
That makes total sense. Thanks for clearing that out.
That’s totally possible! I would suggest overriding the single-event.php template to make that happen. You can learn more about overriding calendar templates in our Themer’s Guide, but it basically boils down to this:
- Make a copy of the single-event.php template. It is located at wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/list/
- Make a new folder in your theme called tribe-events
- Make a new folder in that one called list
- Drop your copied single-event.php file in that last folder
Now that the template is in your theme, you can modify it to suit your needs. In this case, you want to edit line 86 and modify the code to look like the following:
<?php echo tribe_event_featured_image( null, 'large' ); ?>Does this work for you? Please let me know. 🙂

MemberHi Christophe,
I’m sorry this has taken so long for you to solve.
Reviewing this, I realized that we could investigate the theme conflict that is mostly sure the reason of the tribe bar showing up at the top of the content.
Since you marked this resolved, I’ll go ahead and close this thread. But feel free to open a new topic if you want us to take a deeper look at the conflict and see if we can find a solution for it.

MemberHi Dominic!
Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me help you with this topic.
The refund process is all handled by the ecommerce plugin you are using. Let me point you to the following article that explains how to refund or cancel a tickets order >Â https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/refund-cancel-tickets-order/
After you refund or cancel an order, an additional step has to be made on the attendees list if you want to delete the tickets. This will also depend on whether the tickets have already been generated or not. If you are using WooCommerce, then I’d suggest you take a look at the WooCommerce specific settings so that you can obtain the ticket workflow that best fits for you >Â https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/woocommerce-specific-ticket-settings
I’d also recommend you create a staging/dev site where you can test all this different settings and functionality so you don’t disrupt your live site.
I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any follow up questions 🙂

MemberHi Christopher!
Thanks for reaching out to us! Let me help you with that issue.
Could you please share with us the gCal URL for the calendar you are importing events from? I will run some tests on my end and see if I can reproduce the same behaviour.
You can do so in a private reply if you’d like.
Thanks,
