Hey Debbie,
That is super odd. Can you include some screenshots or better a screencast of your event admin setup and the front end of what shows? Can you check your time zone (wp setting) and the multi-day cutoff setting (PRO setting) and make sure they aren’t conflicting in such a way as to make that issue?
Shane PearlmanMemberHey Robert,
We’ve patches those warnings in 2.0.1, but they should not stop recurring events from working, they are just warning not errors. Just in case that is on your live server, you should turn off php warnings, as that is a security risk. You can see a previous forum thread discussing the same issue here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/error-with-custom-reoccuring-events/
October 16, 2011 at 9:13 am in reply to: Calendar month navigation with ajax: problem in Internet Explorer #9749Shane PearlmanMemberHi Guillermo,
I’ll double check with the team but I think older versions of IE couldn’t handle modern ajax calls properly so we had to make them page refresh rather than use ajax.
To be clear – if you use the next / prev buttons in ie7/8 in cal view – does it take you to the next month or just reload the current month?
Shane PearlmanMemberDon’t forget to do that using a custom template in your theme folder rather than editing the plugin file itself or you will loose the change when you update.
Shane PearlmanMemberThats a good point. Maybe you could have your menu point to http://yourdomain.com/events/2012-02/. That would take them to february.
Shane PearlmanMemberThanks Cynthia,
We’ve had a few people report this, although we can’t seem to duplicate the issue. Any chance you could make us an account and email that to [email protected] for testing?
Shane PearlmanMemberHey Robert,
The preview on the back end doesn’t set any room level. The zoom level is a default setting and we haven’t messed with it. I’ve filed an issue to see if we can find some simple setting to define the preferred level of zoom. Might be a release or five before that comes out.
Shane PearlmanMemberok , let me know what you find. Have you tried a manual upload using ftp?
Shane PearlmanMemberConfirmed that is a bug. Logging it for 2.0.1.
Shane PearlmanMemberthat odd. We’ll check that and get back to you,
Was excerpt working as expected?
Shane PearlmanMemberYou would need to use some kind of role manager plugin. I don’t have a preferred option to offer off the cuff as there are a number of them, but maybe someone can suggest something. Since PRO simply uses a custom post type, just make sure that they are supported in the plugin you pick.
Shane PearlmanMemberHi Brigetta – that means you already have the plugin uploaded. All you need to do now is activate it from within your list of plugins!
Shane PearlmanMemberyou can either hide it with css or use a custom template to remove it.
October 14, 2011 at 3:29 pm in reply to: Main navigation for "Events" stays permanently in "On" state #9710Shane PearlmanMemberOk thanks folks. We’ll look into it.
Shane PearlmanMemberThat is super odd!
Did you upgrade from a previous version?
Any chance you might be willing to make us an account so that we can check it out (email to [email protected])?
