Ok filed it as a bug for the team to verify. I’ll let you know as soon as we find something or if we can’t reproduce it.

This issue has been resolved with some help from otto. The open source repo is now updated to 2.0.

Hi Christina,

Can you include a screenshot of the recurrence pattern you are trying to accomplish? Would be helpful to see. Also, which version of WordPress are you running and which version of the core events calendar.

The valid header error typically means that you do not have the file in the right place or unzipped correctly. Which upload method did you use?

Rob made a nice help video on the install. Can you try it again following the directions in this video: https://theeventscalendar.com/downloading-installing-activating-the-events-calendar-2-0-pro-2-0/

He also made one on setting up 2.0 for updates: https://theeventscalendar.com/updating-the-plugin/
