MemberDang – sorry to hear about that, Andrew. Thanks for confirming as much here. If you’ve reached out to the dev behind that theme and they’ve noted some conflict with our code…let me know and I can pass that along to our devs, to try and integrate more smoothly in an upcoming release.
My apologies for the inconvenience, though. If you need anything else from us please let me know. Thanks again for your support so far.
Rob
MemberGreat to hear, Damian. Give it a go and let us know if you need anything else from us then.

MemberHey there Marcos. Thanks for the note here; I downloaded your site’s iCal file on my Mac and imported it into iCal…and it showed up as it should, with each event appearing only once. Did you update to 2.0.8 and found that the issue persists? If so, is it possible you have some other sync set up between your site and iCal that is causing the events to appear twice?

MemberHey Richard. Interesting question; not sure about this myself, but let me see what Jonah has to say. Stay tuned.
Rob
MemberHey Tony. Thanks for the follow-up here. Happy to address these issues best I can
1. This one is probably going to be rather difficult to test, though it’d be weird if Cloudfront was causing what — best I can tell — sounds to be a CSS issue. Have you switched the events template under Settings –> The Events Calendar?
2. If you have the site installed on localhost (which based on your note, sounds to be the case) I’d be interested in hearing if this occurs on the stripped down environment. (For me, it does not). Please give that a go and let me know about how many events you’ve got / the # set to display per page as controlled in the Events settings.
3. How are you reaching this page that matches the WP Router Placeholder Page headline? When I use the newest code; submit an event on the frontend; then access “My Events” and edit that event, the title is what it should be (the name of the event). Are you reaching it through different steps? Does re-saving your permalinks have any impact here?
Let me know about these and either myself or a dev (probably both) will take a look to try and get this resolved for you. Thanks for being patient so far.

MemberHey Jaeden. Just wanted to follow-up on this; any thoughts on my last note and whether that might add some value / help resolve the issue here?

MemberGreat to hear, Richard – thanks for confirming as much. We’ll watch for your response here and will follow-up as needed from there. Thanks for your patience so far!

MemberHey Vincent. Ah, thanks for confirming. At this point unfortunately the best way would just be to check in the decrease in 404s over time…
Rob
MemberThanks, Ramtin. Just a heads up that these have been received and Jonah will be taking a look today. Thanks for your patience so far.

MemberHey Brent. Apologies for the delay here. We’re a bit backlogged on support this month, and so there’s been a bit of a bottleneck in addressing issues in general. This one is doubly challenging because we’re 100% unable to recreate it and are quite positive it’s something related to your specific install.
I don’t really know what else to suggest, to be honest, besides attempting to create an entirely new site to see if the issue persists there. Have you checked that you’re running PHP 5.2 or later? That *could* be the issue. Similarly another user reported a problem where switching from 5.2 to 5.3, weirdly, fixed a problem he was having so that may be worth giving a go here. I assume by this point you’re also on WP 3.4.1?
Let me know. 2.0.8 is also hopefully releasing today (if we can get by a bug we encountered during the launch process), so it’s possible that you’ll have some relief there.
Rob
MemberWe appreciate your patience, Marko.
Matthew: let us know if you’re all set here based on the above, or if you’ve still got questions. Thanks man!
Rob
MemberThanks for the heads up here, Chris., If upon updating to the 2.0.9 build in August, you find that the issue persists…it’d be awesome if you could open up a new thread here indicating as much. We can from there do whatever is possible to assist.
Fingers crossed, though. Feel free to reach out if we can do anything more in the interim.
Rob
MemberGlad to hear this was of some value to you, Richard, and sorry we couldn’t offer up more. If you have any other questions down the road please let us know…and thanks for your support so far.
Rob
MemberHey Brett. How are you aiming to sort – on the frontend, or the backend? You can link to specific categories directly on the frontend regardless of whether you’re on PRO or free, and on the backend can also sort the broader events list via the column headings without PRO. The template tags and filters as documented at https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation, unless they’re tying specifically into a PRO feature, should also work across the board.
Hope that helps. If I misunderstood the question here, let me know and I’ll do what I can to elaborate.
Rob
MemberThanks for confirming, Nabha. Sorry to hear we aren’t able to deliver on what you guys need. This is still in the works…we just put it on the backburner since we realize we need to stabilize our other existing plugins before releasing another new one. We do still have this on track for sometime this year though.
We’ve tried to remove any references to the earlier launch date that may have been up on the site here, but if you see anything let me know and I’ll make sure to get it changed.
