MemberThere are unfortunately no shortcodes with this plugin, but you should be able to insert event data using template tags. Have you checked out our documentation (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation/) to see if it points you in the right direction? We tried to make it pretty straightforward so one need not be a developer to fully understand it.
Let me know whether that does the trick.
Rob
MemberThanks Jonah!
Rob
MemberHey Troy. Sorry to hear you’re having issues; I’d be happy to help. Can you link us to your site where we can check this out directly?
Rob
MemberJulien, you should already be able to view past events by toggling back in list view (using the link that appears at the bottom of the page). Are you looking for something different?
Nick: that’s a good suggestion. I think we’d initially intended for something along those lines but put it on the backburner. Let me check.
Rob
MemberWe’re expecting to have this out by the end of this week.
Tim, what’s the issue you speak of? That doesn’t sound like default behavior, even a bug, since I’m unable to recreate. Any chance you could elaborate or send me an email (rob at tri.be) with a link to someplace I can check this out? Want to get it logged so it’s on our radar, if it isn’t already.
Rob
Member🙂 Excellent to hear you got this resolved. If anything else arises going forward, give us a shout and we’ll do what we can to assist.
Rob
MemberHey Steven. I am just getting back to work after having the week off for Thanksgiving, but I can get our developer Jonah to take a look at this for you.

MemberHey Jamie. I’ve got our developer Jonah taking a look at this today; he’ll be able to respond directly in here.
Rob
MemberHi Kevin. You may be able to hack something together on this; I’ll get our developer Jonah to take a look and respond directly.
In the interim, you may want to check out this tutorial we put together on customizing the widgets last week: https://theeventscalendar.com/how-to-completely-customize-widgets/. May be useful as you continue to customize the widgets going forward.
Rob
MemberHey Brandon. This should be doable; let me get our dev Jonah to take a look here and respond directly.
Rob
MemberHey Robert. I don’t believe this is possible, but you may be able to hack something together…let me get Jonah (our dev) to take a look and respond directly.
Rob
MemberHey Tilo. Not sure if you saw the sticky post we had here on the forum, but support was limited (and at times entirely absent) the past week due to the Thanksgiving holiday 🙂 We’re back on support this morning so you’ll receive a response on this today.
Rob
MemberI’ve logged this as a bug for 2.0.3. Thanks guys.
Rob
MemberHey Peter. If you installed 2.0.1 after using 1.6.5, the events would not have migrated automatically…you would have had to manually initiate the migration by going to Settings –> The Events Calendar (we put together a walkthrough on this at launch time that may be useful: https://theeventscalendar.com/migrating-from-events-calendar-1-6-5-to-2-0/). What happens if you attempt the migration now?
Rob
MemberExcellent to hear you got that working, Meghan. We’re still checking into the venue on our end so it’s possible we’ll be able to provide a solution on that if one exists that’ll work across the board.
