MemberJonah, any thoughts on this? That screenshot is totally foreign to me.
Is it possible, Corey, that what you’re seeing in the screenshot there is independent of the nav issue? IE a conflict with another plugin you’ve got active?

MemberHere are a couple more examples that Shane and I noticed today, which we thought might be worth sharing:
* http://soindiana.org/events/ (there are lots of cool mods on here: filtering by category, ajax details in list view, keyboard hotkeys on month browse, and more. It may not be the fastest site on the web, but very cool and a nice unique use of the calendar plugin)
* http://www.itourcolumbiamontour.com/event-calendar/upcoming/ (aside from just being a nice looking site, check out how cool the “filter by date range” options up top are)Aside from Ernie, nobody has offered up their sites yet. Don’t be scared! You can feel free to submit them via email (so we post for you), if you’re into that sort of thing: https://theeventscalendar.com/showcase/.

MemberHey Adam. So I had Jonah take a look at the backend of your site, and we spent upwards of 30 minutes trying to figure out what’s up here to no avail (and we’re unable to recreate the issue on our end as well). Is it possible that these were created with an earlier version of the plugin? If that’s possible…would you be willing to swap them out with a duplicate event, created on this install, to see if it fixes the issue? That’s unfortunately the best I can suggest at this point.
Rob
MemberHey Giornale, happy to help on this. Just so I understand the issue correctly: in that example you linked to (the second link)…how was that configured on the backend? Is it set to just have a featured image; just have an image in the entry body; or both?
What happens if you just include it in the entry body? Let me know the results. Once I can get this clarified, I’ll get a dev to provide some feedback for you. Thanks in advance!

MemberSorry about that. You may want to browse the OS forum at WordPress.org to see if any users have proposed hacks in the interim. As for the 2.1 status…aiming to have it out by this time next month at the latest. May be sooner depending on how quick we can squash these bugs but no guarantees on that front.
Rob
MemberThanks for confirming. We’ve got the issue of the events showing the same URL (in the feed) logged for 2.1 so that should be resolved then.
Got a link where I can check out the next/previous issue? I’ve been unable to recreate it since the 2.0.1 release, and even then it was only impacting recurring events. Let me know…if you can send over a link we’ll try to get this patched for 2.1.

MemberHey Stephane. Thanks for the heads up; there is unfortunately not much we can do at this point beyond waiting for the 2.1 release (or whatever the next Headway release is, once they get that out). I actually have been given the latest copy of Headway by that theme’s dev already – we’re testing against it for our 2.1 release to ensure integration is as smooth as possible once both are out in the wild together.
Any way you could use the Default Page Template, then modify that via a template override procedure so it better met your needs? Not ideal but at least that’d give you something to work with in the short term…
Rob
MemberThanks for reporting this, Liana. I was just able to recreate on my end too, using the 2.0.2 code base. Looks like this is a bug. I’ve got it logged for the team to fix in the 2.1 release and we’re looking into it now; goal is to have that out within a few weeks and we’re currently on target to do so. My apologies for the inconvenience in the interim. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
Rob
MemberExcellent to hear you got this resolved. If anything else comes up that we can assist with, just holler.

MemberThanks, guys. This sounds to be a bug in 2.0.2 – I’m unable to recreate it on my default 2011 install, but a few OS users have also brought it up. We’ve got a fix in the works for 2.1, and I’m going to have Jonah respond directly in here to see if there’s a short-term solution you can use until the fix is deployed.

MemberThanks. I’ve got Jonah looking into this today.
Rob
MemberThis is awesome to hear, Tom. Anything that can make things easier on you guys is a score as far as I’m concerned, so this feedback is appreciated and something the team will surely be glad to hear. Let us know if anything else comes up on your end or if you have other questions.
Rob
MemberI’ll let Jonah respond directly, but I think we’re at a point where this is unfortunately is something that we’re going to have to wait on a fix for in 2.1.
Rob
MemberThere aren’t known conflicts, but you’re the first I’ve heard using that framework so it’s possible they just haven’t come to light next. Does it work if you revert to the default 2011 theme, assuming you can test that?
Rob
MemberHey Caleb. On the RSS front; not sure I understand the issue. Are you saying you have say, 30 events – and that despite setting it to display 30 in the feed, you’re not seeing all of them? What is the number it’s capping off at?
On the Next event link: this was working fine during our testing stages. We set up some pretty complex recurrence patterns that it handled without issue. What are the recurrence settings you’re using where you’re running into this?
I notice that you’re using your own versions of ecp-single-template.php; does it work in the out-of-the-box one for you, or is it problematic in both?
