MemberThis is the tutorial you should be following: https://theeventscalendar.com/integrating-wordpress-categories-tags-with-your-events/. Is the change taking effect on the frontend?
Rob
MemberPerfect. Thanks for confirming, Samuel.

MemberHey Joe. It’s possible that was an issue in 2.0.1, but I just tested in 2.0.2 and when I changed the cut-off time after publishing an event, that change still took effect. Might this issue have resolved itself with the 2.0.2 upgrade? If not, have you tried re-creating the event with that same criteria to see if the issue persists?

MemberHi again Karen. Unfortunately the import from Google Calendar isn’t an option at this point – I’m not even sure you could hack it together without some serious development skills, and even then it’d likely require modifying the core plugins of the files. We have discussed methods of importing to the plugin, and while those may come down the road, there’s nothing concrete on the roadmap beyond our CSV-based importer.
Sorry I couldn’t offer up more than that. Let me know if you have any other questions about this.

MemberHi Karen. That screenshot works fine too; thanks for sharing. I see that in that screenshot you have “Maintenance Mode” active; is there a reason for that? I’m assuming this message will go away when yo turn that off. Also on this: can you confirm that you’re using the latest official WP release (3.2.1)? Couldn’t tell by the interface seen there.
It sounds very likely that if the solution noted above doesn’t work, this is a conflict with another plugin (more likely that than the theme, I’d wager). Hopefully it won’t come to that though…let’s see whether the suggestions in my first email do the trick. Let me know!
Rob
MemberHey Joe. I don’t believe so; let me get Paul to respond again directly.

MemberThanks a lot for sharing this, Steve – this is awesome. Will be super helpful as we discuss this further; sounds like you’ve got good ideas for this and we want to do what we can to make it easier for you.
Rob
MemberThat’s looking real solid, Ernie — good work. The inclusion of the custom feed is particularly slick…we’ve had a few users requesting an easier way to implement something along those lines, so it’s quite likely that sooner or later something “official” along those lanes will be making its way into the code base.
What format is your data for the other content you’re migrating? We’ve got a CSV-based importer that you’re more than welcome to test (still in beta, but totally functional) if it’d help you…
Rob
MemberI don’t, unfortunately; It’s beyond my area of expertise. But Jonah will be looking at and responding on this shortly.

MemberHey Terrance – that shouldn’t be happening. Where are you seeing it? Single view, list view, grid view, etc? Can you share an example?
Rob
MemberAwesome to hear we got that figured out. Happy to help; let me know if anything else arises going forward.
Rob
MemberExcellent to hear you got this figured out, Alexcia. Let us know if anything else comes up.

Rob
