Rob
MemberHi all. Since this thread is getting pretty massive, and since it seems the solution Joey reiterated above is almost certainly the fix, I’m going to close it out. If you have other issues related to this after attempting the suggestions here (and above all making sure you’re on 2.0.3 for both plugins) please create a new thread and share a link to this one as a frame of reference.
Most appreciated!
Rob
MemberHey David. You’re going to want to get the updated APM code (as per this comment: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/filters-columns-messed-up/#post-13356) for this to be fixed.
Rob
MemberHi Reggie. Have you played around with the time zone settings for your site, using WordPress’ reference (http://codex.wordpress.org/Formatting_Date_and_Time) as a guide? If I understand the issue correctly, changing the settings for your overall site by adding the “T” for the timezone should change this as you want it to. Let me know if not.
Rob
MemberHi Christina. The base documentation related to both plugins is contained in The Events Calendar (free)’s readme.txt file. If you were looking for more in depth template tag information, etc, you may want to check out https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation.
That help? Let me know if not or if I’ve misinterpreted the request.

MemberThank YOU. If you need anything else or have other suggestions down the road, just holler.
February 8, 2012 at 7:21 pm in reply to: Events Calendar PRO – WP Running Slow Since Installation #14897Rob
MemberHi Andrea. Sorry to hear you’re having issues; this is the first I’ve heard of this but we’ll do what we can to assist. First, the obvious question: have you checked whether the deactivation of another plugin (or your theme if needed) helps with this? It could be that Events PRO in conjunction with something else causes the site to move slow and it’d be good to know what that conflict is caused by if so. Would be good to know. Also: you’re on the latest version of WP, right?
We’ve also had issues specifically with the AJAX navigation between months in grid view taking a long time when there are many events per page, and are fixing that for 2.1, but this sounds like a much deeper issue. Correct me if I’m wrong there. Let me know; since the Events Calendar contains the bulk of the code here and PRO just adds a few extra features, I’d think if one was to have a speed impact it’d be free rather than PRO. But we can keep looking into this for you, and my apologies for the inconvenience in the interim.
February 8, 2012 at 7:17 pm in reply to: cannot change end time of an event (back end and front end show differently) #14896Rob
MemberHey Tracy. Interesting; glad to hear you found a workaround, but that certainly is a bizarre behavior. Being on a multi-site install shouldn’t have any impact. You’re running 2.0.3 for both releases, right?
Could it be that some of the custom code is causing this? I do have some newer code (a “beta” somewhere between 2.0.3 and 2.1) that I’ve been giving to some users, as it’s fixed a few bugs that were in 2.0.3. My best suggestion beyond what I’ve noted above would be to give that a shot. Interested? Shoot me a note (rob at tri.be) with a link to this thread as a frame of reference, and I’ll send it your way.

MemberHi Kris. I’m also unable to replicate this issue, but I’m going to have another member of the dev team take a look tomorrow to see if a fresh set of eyes may turn something up. We’ll request credentials as you referenced should we need them but it’s not necessary yet. My continued apologies for the inconvenience.
Rob
MemberHey David. Thanks for the heads up. For the first issue: if I’m understanding correctly, it sounds like the same problems happening over here (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/updating-button-keeps-spinning-not-new-publishing-either). Do those symptoms sound similar? Let me know if not and I’ll take a look. Otherwise let’s keep the discussion of this going at that other thread so everything is in one place.
The issue with the advanced post manager that you’ve shared in your screenshot…that also sounds like an issue we had once previously, which was resolved as referenced here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/filters-columns-messed-up/. Let me know the outcomes after giving that a go and we can keep looking into it as needed.
Rob
MemberSounds good, Marco. After giving the new code a go please respond here in the thread (rather than via email) so other users who have similar problems can benefit from our exchange. Thanks!
Rob
MemberHi Quentin. Sorry to hear that you’re having issues; sounds like something is definitely amiss. As this is obviously not the default behavior of the plugin my guess there is either a conflict with another plugin or your theme at play. Are you in a position where you can test deactivation of other plugins (and your theme, if necessary) to see if one of them is causing the issue?
Also, can you confirm that you’re running The Events Calendar 2.0.3 and The Events Calendar PRO 2.0.3, and not a version other than those? Please also let us know what version of WP you’re on. We’ll do what we can to assist from there.
Rob
MemberThanks for confirming, John. What you’ve offered up here as to the second point also makes sense. I’ll have Jonah take a look at both when he hits the forums this morning.
Rob
MemberHi Peter. I emailed you back as well, with the code. Let’s see where that takes us.
Rob
MemberAlright, thanks for confirming Herman. Let me see if our dev Jonah has any suggestions here when he takes a pass at the forums today. While I can’t guarantee we’ll be able to get it fully functional (since we can’t ensure 100% integration with every theme), but we’ll do what we can.

MemberGreat to hear that did it, David – if for some reason the problem arises again let me know and we’ll try and assist as best we can.
