ParticipantMy calendar and list view works fine, but when you click on one single event, it will only display an almost empty page without the event title and information. It will only display the time and date for this moment. Click here to see what I mean: http://www.kanalu.no/hendelse/radiance-2012/
This worked fine earlier. I am not sure when the problem started, it might be when I upgraded to version 2.0.
Do you have any idea what I can do to fix this?

MemberHey Herman. Thanks for the note; my apologies to hear that you’re having issues. We’ll do what we can to help you out here.
A few suggestions right off the bat:
* You’re running The Events Calendar 2.0.3 and the latest version of WordPress, right? Just wanted to check.
* Go to Settings –> The Events Calendar and play around with some of the different templating options on the dropdown there. Check how each looks on the frontend and see if it gets you closer to where you want to be.
* If you’re in a position where you can deactivate other plugins, deactivate each one by one to see if the problem persists. If the problem stops with the deactivation of a certain plugin, we’ll know its a conflict there and can proceed appropriately.
* It’s also possible your theme could be posing a conflict. If none of the plugin deactivations work, try reverting to the default 2011 theme to see if the problem persists.
* Navigate to your Permalinks page, make sure permalinks are enabled and save the page. Then refresh the frontend to see if the problem persists. After giving those a go, let me know if you’re still having problems and I can dig deeper as needed. Apologies for the inconvenience in the interim.

ParticipantThank you for your quick response!
The template was set to a template that came with my theme. Setting it to default fixed the problem! Thank you very much!Although, I have another issue. It is not critical, as I now use another widget that does the job, but it doesn’t work fully satisfying. The problem is that the widgets (all of them) doesn’t work with my site. When they are activated, they replace all the body text on single entry pages with the description for the next upcoming event. Is there any way to fix this?

MemberThanks for confirming, Herman. Great we got that first issue resolved.
For the second: is this a product of your theme? Ie, if you change to another theme do the widgets work without issue? If so please let me know the name of the theme you’re working with, and a link to the site if possible. Thanks!

ParticipantYes, it’s a theme issue.
The site it http://www.kanalu.no, and the theme is Superflex by Phi, bought through Themeforest.February 8, 2012 at 7:40 am #14850Rob
MemberAlright, thanks for confirming Herman. Let me see if our dev Jonah has any suggestions here when he takes a pass at the forums today. While I can’t guarantee we’ll be able to get it fully functional (since we can’t ensure 100% integration with every theme), but we’ll do what we can.

ParticipantHi Herman, do you have a specific example setup with the widget issue that I can look at?
February 9, 2012 at 5:07 am #14917Herman
ParticipantHi!
I made a sample page with this widget.
The issue applies to both pages and entries.
You can see it here: http://www.kanalu.no/widget-example/February 9, 2012 at 10:58 am #14930Jonah
ParticipantHi Herman,
It looks ok to me. It’s just a page with a title and no content. What’s wrong with this? Here’s what I see: http://cl.ly/0j0u2Q2X04123v2y1W2z

ParticipantOh, I’m sorry, I forgot to explain 🙂
The page actually contains two paragraphs of lorem ipsum text.
The single line of text that is there now, is the description for the next upcoming event.February 10, 2012 at 5:10 pm #15011Jonah
ParticipantHi Herman, can you provide me WP admin access so I can take a closer look? Please email to: jonahcoyote [at] gmail [dot] com
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Herman, it looks like the page content is there now? Is this only because you don’t have an events widget in the sidebar?
