MemberHey! Believe you posted this twice, so let’s keep the discussion going at the other thread.
Rob
MemberHey Nikolasa! Thanks for the succinct explanation there. Have you first tried going to Settings -> The Events Calendar and changing to a different templating option from the dropdown there? It’s possible one of those will resolve this issue without having to modify the code. In the instance there in your video, it looks more like a template issue than the default calendar width. Let me know on that and I can bring a dev in to take a look as needed.
On the search, we’ll definitely be adding some tweaks to that very soon – they’re still being tested on the dev site but will be deployed here as soon as they pass QA 🙂

MemberMarcus: I believe I’ve followed up on this in a separate thread you posted, so let’s keep the discussion going over there. Correct me if I’m wrong.
Rob
MemberAh, perfect. Thanks for confirming – this should be helpful. I’m going to get our dev Jonah to take a look when he hits the forums next to see what he can offer up.

MemberAh, gotcha. You just want the featured image to show in list view. (Correct me if I’m wrong there). Otherwise let me see if Jonah, our dev, has any ideas regarding pointing you in the right direction when he hits the forums next.
Rob
MemberExcellent! Thanks Jonah.
Dale-Anthony: as always, let us know what else we can do. Have a great weekend.

MemberHey Kristen: thanks for reaching out. The plugin should feature a single day view option out of the box; did you work around that, or have you modified it somehow? Not sure if I understand there. Let me know so I can figure out whether this is a bug with how single day view operates, or if you’ve got custom code in there that may be conflicting.
For the next/previous links: have you checked out single.php? You’re referencing the links within individual entries, correct?

MemberHey Marcus: would you be able to share the link to your site here, so we could take a look? Our dev Jonah is currently putting together a Genesis theming tutorial so he’s been working with it quite a bit lately, hopefully he can help you out here…but a link would be real helpful. Let us know.
Rob
MemberHey Ben: were you trying to paste some code there? What exactly are you trying to do differently from the method you’re using now? I can get a dev to take a look from there as needed.
Rob
MemberPeter: you’d want to give this a go on the default 2011 WordPress theme.
Rob
MemberHey Andrea. At this point the grid view widget is intentionally pretty bare bones; we’ll be beefing it up to include month selections somewhere in the 2.1 lifecycle. You may be able to hack something together to make it work, but there’s no option out of the box for that currently. Sorry I couldn’t offer up more here.

MemberHey Jamie. Interesting question; not sure about this one myself, but let me see if Jonah has any ideas when he hits the forums next.
On a higher level, we have a conference manager add-on in the works that should make running conferences easier. We recently put together some wireframes and shared those on our Facebook page. Check them out:
* Timeline schedule: http://cl.ly/DcBs
* List schedule: http://cl.ly/DbrG
* Session: http://cl.ly/DbhtIn terms of timetable, I don’t see it as any earlier than June (at the earliest).
Rob
MemberThanks for this Jamie. If you note this in the “Feature Request” thread (https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/events-calendar-pro-feature-requests/), it’ll be weighted more heavily as we plot out future releases. Cheers.
Rob
MemberThanks Corey. If either of you guys have a chance to give this a go over the weekend, please share in the forum 🙂
Rob
MemberHey Pierre. Yup, that’s just how it fell since we haven’t had much demand for the Google button on the grid view. It may change down the road but at this point, the iCal file should work fine in Google Calendar. Have you given it a go?
