MemberHey DJ. Interesting issue; thanks for pointing it out. I’m unable to recreate this on my default 2011 install with no other plugins active…which makes me think there may be a conflict here. Any chance you’re in a position where you can test deactivation of other plugins (and reverting to the 2011 theme, as needed) so we can see if there is a conflict there?
One solution that may work – and is worth a shot – is to just resave your permalinks and give it another go. Sometimes weirdness arises upon installation that can be fixed with a resave of that permalinks page. Let me know either way and I can get a dev to try and help you out from there as needed.

MemberHey Andrea. Sure, we can help you out here. This is a bit outside my area of expertise, but let me see if Jonah can offer up any suggestions when he hits the forum next. He’s out today for the holiday weekend but should be back in business tomorrow (Wednesday).
Rob
MemberHey Rich. As it stands, the multisite licensing is still in the works so realistically you should be fine using a single license on your network – but if you email pro at tri.be, we can give you details about that and how it’ll function upon release.
Basically the sub-calendar will work fine on an MU install, but we’re unfortunately not yet at a stage where all of those can aggregate on the higher top-level category.

MemberHey Pierre. Awesome to hear; as for the second question, users will need to regenerate/re-add that file if they want changes to be reflected. At this point the exported ical file looks like it just shows events as they were at the time of export.
Rob
MemberHey Adam: if I understand what you’re saying correctly, we’ve actually got this in the code for 2.0.4: http://cl.ly/1k050t2p3D043s3O2y3i. We’re in the final QA stages for that now and once we get through, 2.0.4 will be live. Definitely going to be sometime this week.
Rob
MemberHey Rafael. Have you seen whether template tags can help you accomplish what you’re going for? Those are detailed in some depth here: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/documentation.
Does that help you out/point you in the right direction?
Rob
MemberHey Dan. So I got our dev Paul to take a look at this over the weekend; unfortunately, he doesn’t think there is a simple way to do this. His only suggestion is that it appears that events are listed in post order (oldest to newest) when they are listed at the same time, so if you or the poster considers the order in which you/they post the events, he might be able to achieve what you are wanting.
Apologies for both the delay and that we couldn’t offer up more here. Let me know if you’ve got other questions along these lines.

MemberNope, it’s going to require some configuration. Jonah has been out for the holiday weekend but should be back in full swing tomorrow, so he’ll be taking a look accordingly from there. Apologies for the delay thus far.
Rob
MemberHey Ben. For now, you can share code with < code >. That’ll be changing down the road as we add something more flexible to account for code, but as it stands that’s the route you’ve got to take. That being said they may have enough to go off already; I’ll get a dev to take a look and follow-up with you for code etc as needed.
Rob
MemberSolid suggestion, Armando. Thanks for sharing.

MemberSure, but we’ve got to keep it related to the thread here (and tracked accordingly) so we’re making sure everything gets handled and responded to in conjunction with our internal systems here. We’ve tried taking support discussions off the forum and to email, and it unfortunately causes problems and removes accountability…so here, if you want to send an email to pro at tri.be referencing this thread and with a link to the site, that’ll allow you to do so privately…and we can then keep the discussion going here. Cheers!

Member🙂 Thanks for confirming, Marcus.

MemberHey Nikolasa. Got it! Since you’ve been such a loyal/vocal customer since the 1.x days, let me see if Jonah has any suggestions here when he hits the forum next. No guarantees but it’s worth a look 🙂
Thanks again for making the jump to 2.0. Let us know what else we can do.
Rob
MemberHa, probably more trouble than it’s worth. Let’s just keep the discussion in the other thread.
Rob
MemberJust a heads up, Dan, that the dev who was going to take a look here got a bit sidetracked but I’m going to get him to take a look as soon as possible. Apologies for the delay.
