MemberHey James,
Last week we released the latest versions of The Events Calendar (TEC) and Events Calendar Pro (ECP) with a permalink update for recurring events (the permalink logic was removed from TEC and implemented on ECP instead). Please make sure both plugins are up to date: TEC version 4.5.8 and ECP version 4.4.14. In your case, I believe ECP is not in the latest version and causing the issue you are experiencing.
If both plugins are up-to-date and the issue persists, please access your Dashboard and head over to Settings > Permalinks for a permalink flush (no need to change anything, just visit the permalinks page). Also, please make sure to clear your site’s cache and your browser cache after this action.
If you need anything else in the meantime, please let me know and I’ll be happy to assist!
Regards,
Patricia

MemberHi Bernhardsgrütter Anton,
The “Single geography mode” should hide/remove the country field in the Event Submission form, but it is apparently not working in our case.
It just occurred to me that now our plugin have the option to add a custom list of countries, I’m sorry I didn’t mention it before! To achieve exactly what you want, please go to Events > Settings > Default Content > “Use custom list of countries” and add Switzerland (use this screenshot as a reference). The result would be this.
Let me know if this solution works for you!

MemberHey Ingo,
Thanks for contacting us!
You can add this code in your theme’s functions.php file. (path: wp-content/themes/[your-theme]/functions.php)
Let me know if this custom code works for you.

I could replicate the issue you are experiencing from my end. To solve the problem, can you please access your Dashboard and head over to Settings > Permalinks for a permalink flush (no need to change anything, just visit the permalinks page)?
Please let me know if this solution works for you.

MemberHi Cara,
I’m sorry to know this alternative didn’t work for you as well. I would suggest you to ask your hosting provider if they have any recommended plugin to backup your site based on their server setup.
Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!

MemberHi Daniel,
This problem is happening due to a conflict with your theme’s styles. To solve this problem you can add a padding or a margin in the top of the tribe-events-back class like I did here. You can add the following code in your style.css file:
.tribe-events-back {
margin: 60px !important;
}I hope this helps! Let us know if you need anything else and have a great day!

MemberHi Arthur,
Can you please send us a link or screenshot and specify where did you include these custom fields with checkboxes so we can try to replicate the issue from our end? I’ve accessed your site from Firefox and proceed to buy a ticket for a congress and the checkboxes are working properly as I can see from here.
Please send us further information so we can investigate your case.

MemberHi Erasmo!
Can you please enable the calendar in your site again (as https://createcookingschool.com/events/ is returning a 404 not found error right now)? The tooltip is set to overlay the calendar title by default, but in some cases the theme’s CSS change this behavior. I’ll write a custom code to work with your site, just let me know once the calendar is active again.
Regards,
Patricia

MemberHey guys!
@lblnra If both plugins are up to date (TEC version 4.5.8 and ECP version 4.4.14) and the permalink flush didn’t work for you, I would suggest you to purge/clear your site’s cache and your browser cache as well (also, try to access your site from an incognito window). If the issue still persists, please share with us your site’s name and your system info in a private reply and we will further investigate your case.
@inhouse you are probably not receiving any plugin update notification in your Dashboard because your license is still associated with domain.com and not with new.domain.com. Please follow this article to move your license to this new domain and update ECP to version 4.4.14. After that follow the instructions already mentioned earlier in this thread and let us know if everything works as expected!Regards,
Patricia

MemberHey Alejojo,
Thanks for contacting us! The Events Calendar and its add-ons adapt to use the same language used by your WordPress installation. It will default to English, unless you run WP in a different language. On your Dashboard, go to Settings → General. Scroll down to the bottom of the page where it says Site Language. Select your language from the dropdown and save your changes.
If necessary, you can find further information about how to change the language of your calendar here.
Let me know if you need anything else in the meantime and I’ll be happy to assist!
Regards,
Patricia
