March 28, 2016 at 5:53 pm in reply to: Can't post to technical forums even though I have a current license #1095101orgspringParticipant
This topic got marked as spam automatically, I’m not sure why. My issue still stands.
orgspringParticipantNot sure if this is what is happening here, but i did notice this on my site with events and woocommerce.
I had an event with a ticket that I created at the event page. It was a free event.
Tried adding to cart but it would not work – just dumps to empty cart messages.I went and edited it in WooCommerce (not event page) and noticed the price field was empty. Not zero, I mean nothing in the price field.
Changed price back to zero, saved and cleared cache.
Back to front end ticket – add to cart. worked fine.
Not exactly scientific, but Hope it helps.
orgspringParticipantappears to be thought we dont have anuthing in january yet to test against.
once we do, if the issue comes up i’ll send a note.Any idea what caused it in the first place.
November 4, 2014 at 4:26 pm in reply to: When "Event Search Bar" Enabled – Links to next months not clickable #860854orgspringParticipantAlready did. Thanks. Hope we can get it figured out.
orgspringParticipantI put an event on on December 31 and that did seem to trigger the correct button showing.
So I guess the question is what can be done to remedy it?
Thanks.
November 4, 2014 at 1:03 pm in reply to: When "Event Search Bar" Enabled – Links to next months not clickable #860498orgspringParticipantI was having a similar issue – except for me – just the next link in the month view is not showing. I can see the div being creating and the class is called, but there’s no link/content being inserted.
I tried the solution in this thread and it did not work.
I also tried the solution here posted by Nick: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/next-previous-links-not-working-in-calendar-view/
That too did not work.
I looked at this thread:https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/events-calendar-pro-next-month-links-not-working/ in which timersys and barry provide help, but neither of those worked. my themeappears to be correctly calling the body class.I’m using the latest version of chrome. Any other ideas?
September 30, 2014 at 6:39 am in reply to: Bundle Tickets / WooCommerce and ECP do not account for attendee info correctly #778065orgspringParticipantI just wanted to clear the info on the old ticket. That user was suggesting the functionality could be replicated using woocommerce bundles, but it cannot. And, as I pointed out in my previous ticket, there is a gap in integration there with ECP that I think would make ECP a stronger plugin. Hence the feature request.
Just wanted to make sure people reading the forums didn’t get confused.
orgspringParticipant@sportsaudio, thanks for the note, though your resolve has not been my experience.
I have experience with product bundles and tried in this scenario – it was the impetus for my support comment.
product bundles used with tickets/events records the information and deducts ticket stock. True. But the attendee info never get sent to events calendar meta and can’t be used to check in attendees or to print an events attendee list as normal through ECP.
It can be found through woo, but that’s a more laborious effort, and doesn’t help with auto attendee checkin. Thanks for your note though. I think this should be added to the list of functions in ECPro as it is a situation I’m sure other events calendar owners have run into.
I already submitted it as a feature request.
orgspringParticipantThanks Geoff. I’m not sure if you’re asking something else or responding.
Basically, i’m saying that woo allows for any product to be bundled. Which means I can bundle tickets.
But if i do that, reporting doesnt work inside events calendar attendees area.
If that’s correct, and it does not currently work, then I’m suggesting it be added.Thanks.
orgspringParticipantYes, Barry that helps. thanks.
I knew i’d have to dig through the DB, just wasn’t sure where to start looking.
Thanks again.orgspringParticipantThanks Barry.
Let me ask a follow up, i often use WP All Import Pro, which can import to custom fields, taxonomies, etc.
What field would I be looking for if I wanted to import into recurrence?
I’m guessing recurrence itself is boolean, but I’m wondering if you have a list of the object and its internal names. If they’re handled as custom fields or meta, I can probably import to them.
Thanks.orgspringParticipant@salem…
I’ve been asking the same question since last november. Dont hold your breath.
I did a quick work around recently on a site with just a few static event categories using a custom menu and using custom links to the event categories with the following link structure:
http://www.your-domain.com/events/category/your-category-slug/
Then I put that custom menu in the template to pop on that events calendar page.
I love ECP – hope they get the filter bar out soon.orgspringParticipantYes, thank you.

October 7, 2013 at 9:14 am in reply to: Events Calendar Pro with Wootickets breaks Woocommerce #69630orgspringParticipantThanks Kelly. I always use the latest plugins. You’ll notice my post was from october 5. that’s when I was having hte issue. So unless you’ve updated since october 5, then i’m using the latest version.
