MemberHi there @halibutblue,
Thanks for getting in touch with us! I can help you here π
First of all let me say that you are not missing something here, there’s basically no setting for this. If you want to limit the categories, the easier option is hide the non-community categories by CSS. Does that sound like something that would work? How many total categories do you have in the site and how many of those are community related?
Please let me know about it and I’ll try to help out,

MemberHi Veruska,
Thanks for getting in touch with us on this!
Can you please let me know which feeds/URL are you importing from? I’ll give this a try on my local server. Also, I’ve tried searching for existing bugs that might be generating this behavior but I couldn’t find any. Nor I could fin other similar cases.
Please let me know about it,

MemberHi there Dirk,
Thanks for getting in touch and thanks for the report! Let’s see what’s going on π
I guess you are referring to the single event view (https://concert4you.nl/concert/fries-kamerorkest-speelt-vive-la-france/), right? I see the same behaviour in my local install but I’m not sure if this is a bug or not.
This CSS snippet (add it to your theme or child theme stylesheet or via Simple Custom CSS plugin) will make things right for now:
.tribe-events-address .tribe-postal-code,
.tribe-events-address .tribe-country-name {
display:block;
}
Please let me know if this helps,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberHi there Martin,
Thanks for getting in touch with us! I’ll help you getting started with Event Aggregator π
First of all please review this article β New User Primer: Event Aggregator.
1) Buy a license for an online SaaS service (no local server install required) that can aggregate 10-20 iCal feedback to a single feed (I assume you can do this) and keep it updated automatically
First of all you’ll need a site running WordPress and The Events Calendar. Event Aggregator is a service inside our plugin that let’s you import events from external sources into the site. The processing is done in an external server and you just need to input the license key to active the service.
2) Provide a single iCal feed (the aggregated view of all of the above) that I can subscribe to
Once the events are imported to the site, you can use the iCal feed that The Events Calendar generates: sitename.
Please let me know if this clarifies things a bit,
Best,
NicoNico

Thanks for reaching out to us on this! I’ll help you out π
Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.
Please let me know about the test results so we can continue to troubleshoot this,

We actually have a shortcode for this: [tribe-user-event-confirmations], more details on it can be found here β Display a List of Attendeeβs Events

MemberHi there Daniel,
Thanks for the report and sorry to hear about this issue. I’ll help you here!
Can you please follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.
Is this happening in the backend or the frontend of the site? In which page?
Please let me know if you can still reproduce this with default theme,

MemberHi there Russell,
Thanks for getting in touch with us and for your interest in our products π
I’ll breakdown your description and comment on each item:
What we are looking for is a registration system with multiple ticket options, with at least 5 sliding scale options for each ticket (registrants choose what they pay).
With Event Tickets Plus you can create different ticket types with different princes for your event. The price for the tickets is fixed and the sliders functionality you mention is not an option of our plugins.
It would be great to have a spreadsheet of registrants that is user-friendly, and we can have at the gate: we usually use excel and google docs, but are open.
You can see your event attendees in the site backend and also export a CSV file with all info displayed. More information on this β Tickets: Managing Your Orders and Attendees
Weβd like to be able to edit ticket information, for example if we need to transfer a ticket to another person.
Event Tickets Plus works with an e-commerce plugin (WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, WP-Ecommerce or Shopp) and the tickets are actually products from the e-commerce engine. When a user purchase a ‘ticket’ the related information gets stored in the e-commerce order. If that’s change then the ticket will reflect these changes.
Other features that would make a difference for us: a ticket cap, paypal / credit card / offline-by-check payment options,
Not sure what you mean by ticket cap, Can you clarify a bit? Regarding the other points, you should check the options available in the e-commerce platform you’ll be using.
a service that wonβt crash if 1000 people are looking at it at the same moment.
The Events Calendar and add-ons are built to scale! We have many customers running pretty large sites with our products. AS you probably know, there must be a good site configuration, a cache layer and a good server infrastructure to manage that demand.
Which of your versions would we need to buy, and how much does it cost? It would be very helpful to know how intensive it will be to install this plug-in on our WordPress website, and if any extra code will be needed.
From what you describe you’ll need to get Event Tickets Plus ($89). Events Calendar PRO comes packed with some extra views and functionality you might be interested in as well ($89), thou not needed to sell tickets or manage attendees. Installing the plugins is super easy and there’s not much configuration to do. If it fits your needs out of the box then you’ll be set in minutes. On the other hand if you decide to customize it then the time and effort will grow according to the complexity of the customization you want to achieve.
Finally let me say that with most plugins and themes, the best way to know if it works for you is to actually test it out. While we don’t have a trial period, you can go ahead and purchase the products for testing. If you decide they are not what you are looking for, you can ask for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. For more information take a look at our refund policy.
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with,

Thanks for getting in touch with us! I can help you here π
Can you please let me know if you are referring to the same issue described in this thread β https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/new-venue-selection-is-a-backward-step/?
If so, I’ll investigate on this soon, customization like this can take a bit more time than usual support exchanges but it’s something I have an eye on.
Please let me know about this,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberHi there Math,
Thanks for getting in touch! I can help you here and see if it’s possible to have just the ticket ID column in the CSV export π
Before I do so, please let me know which type of tickets you are using in the site. This way I can test the solution on my end.
Also, you mention getting 3 columns in the export. Can you describe which are those?
Thanks,

MemberHi there Paonne,
Thanks for getting in touch with us!
I’ve reviewed the events and the error seems to be in the event end date. When you create a recurring event, the event end date should be the ‘first’ event end date not the recurrence ‘end date’. Try changing these events end date to ‘2017-01-31’ and let me know if that fixes it!
