MemberHi there @skynet,
Thanks for getting in touch with us and sorry to hear about this issue … let’s see what’s happening under the hood…
Can you please let me know which filters you have configured on the site (you can take a screenshot and attach it – if you don’t want you reply to be publicly visible just mark it as private)? Also, it would be great if you could share your system information with me so I can check if everything looks right on that end.
With this information I’ll try to reproduce the issue on my end, and log it as a bug if I actually can reproduce it!
Please let me know about it,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberHey Kyle, thanks for following up with the code and sorry for the delay in my reply!
I just made this super simple test in my local install and it’s working for me:
add_filter( 'tribe_events_event_schedule_details', 'tribe_sample_filter', 10, 4 );function tribe_sample_filter ( $schedule, $event_ID, $before, $after ) {
return ' xxx ' . $schedule;
}
Just paste the above snippet in your theme’s (or child theme’s) functions.php file. It’s working for me in photo view and in photo view inserted via shortcode. Can you test it out? It’s just the same as you were testing, you were not passing all parameters to the callback not sure that caused it not to work but just in case I wanted to point this out.
If it doesn’t work right away then please check the following:
– Is it working for photo view (without shortcode)?
– Do you have any cache plugins that might be getting in the way? If so can you disable those and re-test?
– Can you please disable all non-tribe plugins and switch to a default theme (like TweentySeventeen), move the snippet to the default theme and re-test?Please let me know about it,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberHi there Gary,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry for the delay in my replay! I personally did some of the testing between Event Tickets Plus 4.4.5 and WooCommerce 3.x, so I’m really curious about the issue you are getting.
First of all it would be really useful if you could set up a staging / dev site to run some tests (maybe you already have one?).
Also – is Tribe Admin Helper: Temporary Fix v1.0 plugin still required?
It shouldn’t be necessary, Was it given to you for an specific issue in the past? Reviewing your past exchanges with our support team I couldn’t find if this was suggested for an specific reason.
First thing to try is to disable the ‘Tribe Admin Helper’ plugin. Then update all plugins to latest versions (without updating Woo) and see if everything works until that point. Once that’s done then upgrade Woo to latest (3.0.2 now) and check if the fatal still occurs (maybe it was the Helper plugin causing it). If you still see that error, then please enable error display in the site or check the PHP error logs to see if a description of the error can be found in there.
Please let me know how this goes,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberPS: I got another report of this issue and I recall that in the past we’ve heard of hosting companies restricting some of these ‘calls’ to external services which affected our validation server requests. Can you please reach out to your hosting company and see if they are doing such thing or if they have some information on their logs about it?
Thanks!

MemberHowdy Charlotte,
Welcome to our support forums and thanks for reaching out to us. I can help you here 🙂
As I informed Ivan in his thread, we made some changes to our license validation service last weekend. The update caused an issue with domains containing a hyphen (-), but other than that it seems to be working for mos folks.
In the past we’ve heard of hosting companies restricting some of these ‘calls’ to external services which affected our validation server requests. Can you please reach out to your hosting company and see if they are doing such thing or if they have some information on their logs about it?
Thank you very much!

MemberHi there Richard,
Thanks for getting in touch with us on this!
You have to manually enable event views. For that log into your WordPress admin, and go to ‘Events > Settings > Display > Enable event views’ check ‘Photo’ and Save Changes.
Please let me know if that helps,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberHey Jürgen,
Thanks for getting in touch with us!
I could verify what you reported, so I went ahead and switched the last renewal from your PRO license to the Event Tickets Plus one.
Please let me know if things look right from your end now,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberThanks for following up Ivan 🙂
If its only matter of updates and plugin wouldnt cause any other problem I will wait.
Yeah, that’s the impact of it. But there shouldn’t be any problems really now that the fixes have been deployed. Does the site has internet / outside communication or is it an intranet site?
Just to recheck you are always getting the following error consistently: ‘Sorry, key validation server is not available.’, right?
Please let me know about it,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberThanks for the patience while I asked about this. I was told that this will be possible in version 4.5 of The Events Calendar / Event Aggregator coming out in a couple of weeks (hopefully) 🙂
I inspected the code but couldn’t find a filter to easily do this for now. Do you think you can wait for a bit?
Please let me know about it,
Best,

MemberHi Chris,
Thanks for reaching out to us on this! I can help you here…
As you say, this is the way it works right now. Your concern (let me know if I’m getting this right) is that users should only see their events information in the backend? Or you prefer for them just to not be able to be in the back-end at all? Maybe it’s a possible solution to make a redirect from the checkin page in the admin to their Community profile in the ‘front-end’ of the site? If that’s the case let me know and I’ll try to make a snippet for it.
Please let me know about it,
Best,

MemberHi there Eric,
Thanks for getting in touch with us! I can help you here…
Basically the state of the filter bar depends on the default setting, but if the user collapses or opens the filters that last stat is stored in a cookie and will be respected while the user navigates the calendar. I guess the options here are to change the cookie or trigger the show/collapse button via JavaScript on page load event.
Do you think that might work for you? If that’s the case I can help you with a basic example of this.

MemberYou are welcome Darryle, thanks for confirming! I’ll go ahead and close out this thread, but will keep an eye on the other issue. I just talked to Geoff and I see he is waiting for some things from your end to make some deeper troubleshooting. Will keep collaborating with him to help you on the issue.

MemberThanks for following up Darryle!
Can you please let me know if the license issue has been solved in the first place?
The license should not impact the other issue you are experiencing. License keys only enable the access to the support forums and automatic updates inside the site. It would be great if we can focus on the issue here as Geoff is helping out with the other issue on a separate thread. In any case I will ping him and offer a second look as it looks like a tricky issue for sure.
Please let me know about it,
Best,
