MemberHi there Ben,
Please let me start by pointing out that we have a Nonprofit Partnership program that allows approved organizations to use Events Calendar PRO for free, as well as providing discounts on our other plugins. You can read our Nonprofit Program Knowledgebase article to get all the details. On that page you’ll find a link to our application form with further instructions.
If for some reason you are not able to apply, and to answer your question if you just plan to have 4 websites then a Business + a Personal license for the new site sounds like the best option in price. If you plan to have more than 4 sites then an Agency license would be cheaper.
Thanks and we look forward to hearing from you!

MemberHi there John,
Thanks for getting in touch with us to report this issue…
I’m not really sure about the error you mention but it looks like a typing issue. I could find other occurrences of the issue in the forums, but there was no ticket logged about it so far.
Unfortunately t’s really difficult to fix an issue without clear instructions to reproduce it, but in this case as there’s a clear error description I’ll reach out to one of our devs and ask about it.
I’ll be back with more information!

MemberWell that’s a great point Oliver 🙂
You can start to test it in staging environment if you have one. Release is scheduled for early next month (June 6, although it might get delayed one week or two) so I guess you can wait probably.

MemberHi there Bill,
Thanks for getting in touch with us and for your interest in our products 🙂
Sorry to hear about your negative experience with calendar software you mentioned 🙁 I guess that the best way to see if our plugins fits your needs is to actually try them out 🙂
While we don’t have a trial period, you can go ahead and purchase the products for testing. If you decide they are not what you are looking for, you can ask for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. For more information take a look at our refund policy.
How does The Events Calendar make it the customer experience positive (any videos) and which upsells should I purchase (Calendar, Ticket, others?) to create the best experience possible?
It all depends on your site requirements, Can you please let me know a bit about this? You can check each product page and find information and videos about each of them. But again probably the best way to get to know how things works is to actually try them out!
Also, will I need WooCommerce or is PayPal payment for events adequate?
If you plan to sell tickets for events you’ll need to have The Events Calendar (free), Event Tickets (free) and Event Tickets Plus (premium) installed + an ecommerce engine (WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads). Both ecommerce plugins work well with Pay-Pal so that’s def a valid payment option!
Please let me know about the site requirements so I can let you know which plugins you’ll need for it,

MemberHi there Byor,
Shelby asked me to follow up with you, so let’s get into it!
Looks like the snippet here you pointed out already does what you describe. I’m curious to know if you tried it and it didn’t work as intended for you.
Please let me know about it!

MemberHi there Jordan,
Thanks for getting in touch with us and for your interest in our plugins 🙂
First, let me say we have a Nonprofit Partnership program that allows approved organizations to use Events Calendar PRO for free, as well as providing discounts on our other plugins. You can read our Nonprofit Program Knowledgebase article to get all the details. On that page you’ll find a link to our application form with further instructions. We also provide discounts on premium plugins to organizations.
The above process might take from a few days to a week approximately, if you are in a hurry you can go ahead and purchase the products for testing. If you decide they are not what you are looking for (or you get approved in the non-profit program), you can ask for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. For more information take a look at our refund policy.
Thanks and we look forward to hearing from you!

MemberHi there Steve,
Thanks for getting in touch and for your interested in Image Widget Plus 🙂
I want to display a collection or images in a column down the page in the sidebar, so each image is always visible and has a link to an external website. Is that possible with Image Widget Plus, please?
This is possible with both Image Widget and Image Widget Plus, just insert various instances of the widget with one image each.
Also, I can’t find any documentation to say what the “entry” options are under sizing. What is “entry”, “entry cropped”, etc, please?
The plugin grabs all registered images sizes. Apart from the default ones in WordPress (‘thumb’, ‘thumbnail’, ‘medium’, ‘large’, ‘post-thumbnail’) you might see other sizes registered by the theme or another plugin.
Please let me know if you still have doubts,

NicoNico
MemberThanks for the follow up Chris!
To change the URLs to pages you created can be done the following way:
// let's assume the page slug is 'success-page'
$url_success = get_permalink( get_page_by_path( 'success-page' ) );
// let's assume the page slug is 'fail-page'
$url_fail = get_permalink( get_page_by_path( 'fail-page' ) );
Should I link the URL’s to pages that are predetermined by the Events Calendar plugin?
No, that’s not necessary.
I’ll be submitting a change in the code next maintenance release (coming out next week), that will definitively make this customization lot easier to implement. If you can wait for a bit I’ll keep you posted when this is out!
Best,
NicoNico
MemberYou are welcome Miro!
I’ll go ahead and close out this thread, but if you need help with anything else please don’t hesitate to create a new one and we will be happy to assist you.

MemberThanks for following up Jeff!
Do you recommend for me to delete the events that I attempted to import the first time and re-import the venues (first) and then the events (seconds)?
Totally yes! Venues (and Organizers) need to be imported first, then Events. This allows venues to be correctly assigned.
Give it a try and let me know how it goes,

NicoNico
MemberHi there Zachary,
Thanks for getting in touch with us and for your interest in our products 🙂
Hopefully you can import from external source (like a Google Calendar) with Event Aggregator. The plugin allows you to define a default status for imported events, so you can select Pending Review (or Draft if for some reason makes more sense to your project) and those events will need to be approved before being displayed in the site.
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberThanks Josh! I can continue to help here meanwhile to discard it’s a bug at least.
Can you please send me the files so I can test on my end?
Thanks,
NicoNico
MemberThanks for the feedback Marie! I’ve went ahead and swapped you Event Tickets Plus license for an EventBrite tickets one.
Please let me know if you need help with anything else,
Best,
NicoNico
MemberThanks for the feedback Shamsi! Will make sure to pass it on to our products marketing team for them to keep it in mind and make the adjustments they consider.
The license has been refunded and you should see the funds back into your account in 5-10 business days.
You are welcome to upvote and add your comments on this similar Uservoice idea.
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do for you,

MemberHey Oliver,
Sorry for the delay in my reply! The suggestion that came back was to suggest you to try Community Events 4.5 (new version release candidates available at your downloads page) which hides these fields by default.
If that doesn’t sound like a good option or you still need an immediate solution I can craft a JS snippet to achieve this (as there’s no easy PHP workaround now).
Please let me know about it,
Best,
