You should be able to use the snippet described in this article to make venue/organizers required.

MemberHey,
Just wanted to share with you one more update. A new maintenance release (for the Week of 26th June 2017) is out, including a fix for the missing private label for this week widget issue ? It’s really a partial fix as when you load events via AJAX (prev / next week) the label won’t show anymore, this is due to how WordPress core adds that label and you’ll see this across all our views, other WordPress core views and other plugins. At least the behaviour now is consistent with the rest of our calendar views and widgets.

MemberHi there Monica,
Thanks for getting in touch with us and sorry to hear about this issue. I’ll help you out π
First thing I’d try here is to follow steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.
I just gave this a try in my local test site and comments are working as expected on events page (when the option to enable them is check of course) with default theme Tweenty Seventeen.
Please let me know if the testing for conflicts yields any results,

MemberHi Martin,
Thanks for getting in touch with us! I can help you here π
What you see in the reference is a custom implementation made on top of our product. You can achieve a similar navigation for month view using The Events Calendar category colors a free third-party plugin.
Please give it a try and let me know if it works for you,

MemberHi there Ilaria,
Thanks for getting in touch with us! I can help you here π
Iβd like to hide the events-loop below the calendar (and I can do it with some css)
This can be set from the widget settings, just set ‘Number of events to list below the mini calendar:’ to zero.
I like to link every single future event (that i see in calendar) to the event single page.
Yes, this is possible with the help of a code snippet. Please checkout this past thread in which I provided an answer for the same problem.
Hope that helps,
Best,
NicoNico

First let me start by saying that I’m not seeing a Timezone set for you site (WP Timezone: Unknown or not set), in the system information (maybe an error fetching this info or maybe that’s not set on the site). Can you let me know about it before we get deeper into this? As stated in the thread you mentioned, events should be shown as upcoming until the βend date / timeβ has passed.
Please let me know about it,
Best,
