I want to know I have to use free plugins and then install paid plugins?
Yes! Event Tickets Plus and Events Calendar PRO are add-ons that extend the functionality of the free/core plugins.

First let me start by saying that Events Calendar PRO doesn’t come packed with the tickets functionality. To sell tickets for events you’ll need to install The Events Calendar, Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus + an e-commerce platform: WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, WP-Ecommerce or Shopp. Events Calendar PRO supercharges your calendar and works like a charme with the above listed plugins but is not needed to sell tickets.
1. if i buy the personal product for $89 is that a recurring yearly payment?
The licenses are valid for a year, so yes it’s a payment $89 for updates and support for 1 year. Renewals are discounted!
2.Is there a limit as to how many events i can create and how many tickets i can sell?
No, there’s no limit 🙂
3. Are there any other fees when selling tickets through events calendar (except Paypal)?
No, just the fee collected by the payment gateway, like PayPall as you note.
4. Can you add discount codes/vouchers?
Yes, all the features related with the checkout and payment management are managed by the e-commerce platform. I’m mostly sure all of them include coupons functionality.
While we don’t have a trial period, you can go ahead and purchase the products for testing. If you decide they are not what you are looking for, you can ask for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. For more information take a look at our refund policy.
