    Using the ical import with a google calendar feed.

    I have confirmed that all-day recurring events do not import correctly. These events import but they will only show the first instance (duplicated) on the first day.

    For example, weekly all-day “concert” every Friday until June 3. Instead of showing up every Friday as an all-day event it show up the first Friday twice as an all-day event but nowhere else.

    Running events calendar 4.0.3, pro 4.0.3 and ical importer 4.0.2.

    Hi Peter,

    Thanks for your patience while the forums have been closed over the holidays! We’re still technically closed for a few more days, but I’ll do my best to help you out here in the meantime to at least get things rolling. 🙂

    I see what you mean! When importing events from the Google Calendar URL, I see both of those events listed twice. And, when opening the .ics file itself, I see that they are set to be recurring events that span more than two instances.

    I’ve opened a ticket for this in our system so we can work on it. I don’t have a timeframe for when it will be patched, but I’ll mark this thread Pending Fix in the meantime and will be sure to follow-up with you when updates are available.

    So sorry for the trouble, but thanks for bringing this up!

    Thank you for reporting this issue. We weren’t able to get a fix for it into our upcoming release (4.1). However, please know that the problem is still on our radar and is ticketed within our system to be addressed in a future maintenance release.     Hi there,

    Just wanted to inform that maintenance release 4.1.3 is out. The update includes a fix for this issue.

    Please update the plugins to the latest version and re-test to see if the fix works for you.
