About Free and Paid Plugins

I am using you Free Event Calender and Free Event Ticket Plugin. I am interesting to buy Event Ticket Plus and Evetn Calender Pro. I want to know I have to use free plugins and then install paid plugins ? Or I can delete the free plugins and just use paid plugins ?
