    Hi Cassi,

Thanks for your reply. Running such disparate versions of the plugins could definitely be causing some or all of the issues you are seeing. The plugin changed drastically with 3.0 so the 2.0.11 one is really outdated. Unfortunately, I can’t guarantee that all of the issues you’re having are related to that- as I mentioned, there might be a theme conflict in play. Before you buy a license, I’d like to help you do an update to PRO 3.6.1 and see if that resolves the issues. If so, you could choose to purchase a license to continue getting updates.

Please email us at pro(at)tri.be and we will send you a .zip file of Events Calendar PRO 3.6.1, as well as instructions for a manual update. You use that to update your PRO plugin, and we’ll see how much that can resolve. Please provide a link to this thread in your email. Thanks for your patience while we look into this.

Thank you! Can you try validating the license now and let me know if the issue is resolved?

    Hi robkuhn,

Thanks for posting. We are doing some maintenance to our license server and hope to have this resolved shortly. In the meantime, you can continue to use the plugin as normal- it will continue to work as normal. I will update here as soon as I have more information. You should be able to plug the license key in soon. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

    Hi Claire,

Thanks for posting. We are doing some maintenance to our license server and hope to have this resolved shortly. In the meantime, you can continue to use the plugin as normal- it will continue to work. If you need to upgrade immediately you could do a manual update with the latest .zip file (we can provide that via email). However, I believe we’ll have the license server back up for your shortly, if you don’t mind waiting. I will update here as soon as I have more information. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

    Hi mcomarketing,

I’m sorry, but at this time our plugin is not compatible with WPML. We are planning on improving our compatibility in the future. If you’d like to encourage us and stay updated on our progress, please add your votes to the UserVoice page. We will update there as we work on this. I’m sorry I can’t be more helpful at this time.

    Hi Massound,

Thank you so much for working on these. They look great and I’m excited to get them added to our plugins. Can you please tell me your full name so I can credit you in the readme.txt files? Thank you so much for helping out!

    Hi mllibre,

Thanks for your post. I’m glad you like the plugin!

The Spanish translation is a couple versions old. Even though some strings (such as Next Events and Previous Events) are in the translation files, if the string has changed they might not work anymore.

I was able to fix the changed strings for the Next Events and Previous Events links. You can download the updated files here. Please note that any other strings that are currently showing in English will not be fixed. If you want to fix those, you could volunteer to help update the whole translation for both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO. We’d be happy to give you a free license or renewal in exchange for your work. If you’re willing to do that, you can find all the information you need in our Getting Started post.

When you say you want to change some specific translations- is that because they are incorrect, or because you need it to say something else? If it’s incorrect, you could fix that if you update the translation as mentioned above. If you want to make it say something else, it’s safest not to edit the translation files directly. Instead, you could use a gettext filter or a string-by-string translation plugin like ‘Say What?’.

    Hi Marcos,

Is it possible to filter the search to find my calendar categories or sub-categories?

Events Calendar PRO does not have a category filter built in. However, you can link to specify category pages. You can also use The Events Calendar Category Colors plugin to show them. Or you can use our premium Filter Bar plugin, which includes filters for category, tag, and much more.

The events registered in the calendar, become inside the woocommerce product?

I’m not sure I understand your question. I recommend that you take a look through our WooCommerce Tickets New User Primer. That will give you a look at how things work.

The forms of payments of events, are in the same woocomercer, today I use the cielo, PagSeguro, and deposit slip.

The free WooCommerce plugin comes with six basic options: Direct Bank Transfer, Check, Cash on Delivery, Credit Card (via Mijireh) and PayPal. WooCommerce also has a large number of payment gateway extensions available for purchase that can be used with WooTickets.

You can insert sidebar widgets or ads to the pages of evetos, event categories

Events Calendar PRO has four premium widgets. You can see examples here.

    Hi jscarlett,

How strange! Can you tell me what version of each plugin you are currently on? Also, are you trying to update from the Plugins page (with a link) or from the WordPress Updates page (using the checkbox)? If you haven’t tried it from the WordPress Updates page, that would be the next step. If that still doesn’t work, you might need to do a manual update.

    Hi Jane,

Thanks for posting. You only need to use the one license key for your live site. We have a little tutorial here that describes how you can use the one license for both your live and your dev site. If you have any questions, just let us know and we’d be happy to help.

    Cheers,

    Hi liveroomescape,

Thanks for your interest! We’re excited to add recurring event support for WooCommerce Tickets. However, we do not have a specific ETA or roadmap for this feature. I recommend you add some votes to the UserVoice page for this feature. We will update there as we progress.

Doing tickets with recurring events is extremely complicated, and I’m afraid we can’t offer any workaround or temporary solution for you. I apologize for any inconvenience.

    Hi toneroysland,

I’ll do my best to answer all your questions:

Where to get rid of the above links?

I believe those links are showing at the top of the page because you are using the Full Styles stylesheet. You can change that under Events –> Settings –> Display. Using the Tribe Styles should get rid of those links.

The Norwegian pot-file is not outdated in regards on the Previous and Next translation, because those are translated as well, just not showing for some reason. How come just these words? We’re not interested in translating a new file at this time.

Even when strings show in a .pot file, they may still be outdated and thus not show properly on the site. That is the case here- those strings are translated in the file, but because they are not up-to-date they are not working. You could try updating the file from the latest .pot file (both in the plugins /lang folder). Otherwise you’ll need to wait until someone updates the translation file for us.

Also as mentioned, the bigger Upcoming Event link (Kommende Aktiviteter), top left, (correctly translated to Norwegian) links to front page and not to Upcoming or earlier pages. Within an activity the link is named “Alle aktiviter” and it also links to the front page, not the head listing.

This is actually a problem with your theme. It looks like you have a transparent shape (div#logo) that is linked to your homepage, and it’s sitting on top of those links. That’s why they’re not linking where they should. You’ll need to do some theming to remove that or change it. I recommend that you check out our Themer’s Guide to get started. If you need help, you can post a new thread in our PRO Forum and we’ll do our best to point you in the right direction.

Also as mentioned, a strange void above the calendar appeared after upgrading, showing the backround color below the menu. It wasn’t like that before.

This is also probably due to your theme. We made some changes in 3.6 that may have affected your theme.

Google Calendar shows inside an activity now.

If you’d like to remove those links, you can follow this tutorial.

    Hi Sean,

Thanks for your patience. I chatted with our developer, and she said that you can use a filter to do this. You’ll want to filter

    'tribe_bar_datepicker_caption'

    and check

    tribe_is_map

and then put in your custom text for Map View.

I hope that helps! Lemme know if it doesn’t work out.

    Best,
    Leah
